“Purchased for my granddaughter because she was looking for a used machine. I looked at reviews for the machine and decided this would be ideal for her. She is more than happy with her present.”

“I bought this machine for my granddaughter who is keen on sewing but has never used a machine. This machine does tick the boxes for a beginner so I'm pleased with my choice in that respect. I am a fan of Janome machines but thought this model would be good for younger sewers as Brother gives a longer guarantee and a few more accessories than Janome. However.... the instructions are not well presented and are not easy to follow or user-friendly. They are printed on both sides of a huge sheet of paper folded up. Very annoying Yes, there is a dvd but accessing that can be problemtic. I am disappointed because being a very new and inexperienced sewer, my granddaughter will need to refer to the instructions often! And I do not unfortunately live nearby!”

“Excellent, easy to thread both bobbin and machine . Had a trial run on various fabrics with regard to tension, stitch length and all easy to adjust . I’m thrilled with my purchase which will save me a fortune in clothes alterations as I need most things shortened, sleeves, trousers, dresses etc.”

“This machine is great for all those little jobs that have been piling up because hand sewing wasn't good enough! I'm looking forward to making some new items too. It's very easy to use and quiet . Couldn't be happier.”
