“These are always good value and a lovely surprise. This time I received strips from Christmas fabric. Inspiration. I love these scraps for the creative freedom they give me. There are lots of selvedges which I love sewing into my projects. Buy one of these and do your fifteen minutes of creativity each morning sewing them together somehow or other - it’s a joy to be freed from the need to select and work to a pattern. See below one quilt I made including a scrap bag of browns, reds and beige colours. I would never normally sew with these colours, but they grew on me and I love this project. I also made a book cover using fabric I made with the selvedges.”
