"Who needs Prosecco?! Quite one of the nicest drinks of any kind that I have ever drunk. And you can quote me on that!"John, Hanover Healthfoods The diva of the brewery. It's a little sassy, notes of elderflower, with coconutty elements. People have said that this kombucha tea tastes like having a dry white wine or prosecco. The No.3 Oolong kombucha tea is delicate and floral. It is made with the finest teas from the mountainous peaks in Taiwan, in an area which pioneered tea growing in the 19th Century. Made with only the finest ethically-sourced teas, so everything is fairtrade. Left Field don't add flavourings and don't add spice. They just draw out the natural aromatics in excellent teas - so you can taste their real flavours. What is kombucha tea? Kombucha is a solution of tea, sugar and water that is fermented by a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast. Or to put it another way, it's a cup of sweet tea (without milk), that has undergone a completely natural biological process to convert much of the sugar into other beneficial organic compounds. If you have an understanding of cider making, you can think of kombucha as being fermented sweet tea in the same way as cider is fermented apple juice - the processes are quite similar. Gluten Free Explained Gluten is a protein compound found most commonly in the grains wheat, barley, rye and oats. Wheat and barley are often key ingredients in producing drinks such as beer and in sealing wine casks. Gluten free drinks avoid using such products. To label as gluten free the product must have below 20 parts per million of gluten, which is barley a trace! How is this product Vegan Friendly? The drink is free from any animal products or derivatives. In addition the bottle, label and glue is also free from animal products.
