“We previously had click vinyl from howdens that had been poorly fitted by a contractor, and chose this as the price was decent, although it was only £100 cheaper than howden’s equivalent. We had 18 packs and the first one I opened the ends were damaged on most of the boards. Luckily I’ve managed to salvage most of them as cuts. It’s not an easy material to work with and breaks and chips extremely easily. It’s certainly not very plastic and flexible like the howdens flooring. I would liken it to an asbestos cement product, very brittle. It’s also not easy to fit as you need a scrap bit of flooring to hammer the joints tight. I wouldn’t buy this product again and don’t see it lasting long term in my shop. Wish I’d just spent the extra money at howdens for the proper stuff.”
