1 of 100 x Mantle Brewery x Peter Billington, a Special Edition. All good things take time and we've been working on this for a while. Taking Peter's stunning artwork to a 2 colour t-shirt meant I had to learn new Photoshop skills, every day is a school day! This is on preorder only, delivery should be around 17th July.
'I found both Peter Billington and 1 of 100 through music. Musical connections leading the way, lighting beacons here and there to illuminate a path forward. Music has been the ever present theme for me since I was a youngster, and here is another demonstration of how music brings great things together. If you know Mantle Brewery, you will be aware or our liquid offerings and the stunning area in which we live.
If you have seen our branding, you will know the symbol of the Mantle, the beating heart of the planet that we all share for a moment. Bringing our identity together with our region, its ocean, the rocks and fields, is what I asked of Peter when he created this artwork. Peter has a wonderful style, merging known forms and abstract imagery together to create amazing pieces of art. His style is so recognisable, and I am so happy with the imprint he has left on this project. It is undoubtedly him.
To be able to have this hand printed on to high quality T Shirts is just the cherry on the cake. More people can own it. As they wear it, more people can see it. Thanks to 1 of 100 for making that possible. With the pandemic hitting the brewery trade hard, there became a need to find something nice to help lift us out it, the idea of this collaboration appeared from that thought. This design is on super soft 100% Organic Cotton as usual, sage, mango, leaf green or grey t-shirts with black and orange ink, all hand printed in Glasgow.
