Project 165! Our second Limited Edition Art Print of 2024, a stunning piece of original art by Horace Panter of The Specials, to commemorate the paperback release of Daniel Rachel’s essential book, ‘Too Much Too Young’ on White Rabbit Books.
My first love was the 2 Tone Records ska sound and the bands on that label, The Specials, Madness, The Selector and the Beat. So this one is special, another bucket list ticked off! And to collaborate with Horace Panter again with one of his artworks and Daniel Rachel for his definitive book means a lot to me.
'Another collaboration with 1 of 100. This time it’s to coincide with the publication of Daniel Rachel’s new book ’Too Much Too Young’. It’s your first 2-tone compilation cassette - the one you took to school to show everyone how cool you were. You remember…’ - Horace Panter
'This design could have been pulled out of my teenage collection. I spent hours drawing the 2 Tone man and compiling compilations of the Specials, Selecter, The Beat and Madness. Horace’s artwork captures the essence of a love affair with the greatest label in the world – and I’m not just saying that because it namechecks my book Too Much Too Young: The 2 Tone Story underneath!' - Daniel Rachel

Horace Panter is cool. This piece is cool. Cassettes are not cool but they look good. Excellent quality from the whole team.
