But there was one thing that drove me mad about every version I tried, the stripes never matched across the sleeves and the body. Most people might not notice. I couldn't not notice. Knitted on Japanese looms using ultra-fine cotton, which means the stripe isn't printed or applied. It's built into the fabric from the start. The weight, the drape, the clean finish. That's what eight years of looking gets you.
The Breton has been around forever because it works. This is the version that actually does it properly.
