“As a company I can't fault them but I took a chance buying a mattress online. It is super quality and that can be seen in the product, however. Its just way too hard for me. I wake with soree everything. I do realise it's made from natural materials and there is a smell that goes along with that, but my mattress smelled really badly of human urine after the first night. I thought it would wear off but it didn't until I turned the mattress and the other side has no smell at all. There is a 100 night trial but I spilled some squash on it so I've voided that.”

I have had my new Winston’s mattress and divan since April and I am in love with it. I had a Hypnos before and it was dreadful compared with Winston’s. Now sleeping perfectly, I cannot fault this company. Yes my mattress had a slight smell upon arrival but it soon dispersed as advised by the helpful Winston’s employee. Main point taken from buying off this company is that they care about their customers, which is a rarity amongst the giants in the industry.”

“Excellent pair of mattresses making our zip and link. Really good service from purchase to delivery and very quick. “Quite simply the best bed I have ever slept in. I have had mine for 10 weeks now, and it just gets better and better every day. I look forward to going to bed, and I spend my Sundays lying in bed thinking about how lovely and comfortable it is. “I had not heard of Winstons and came across their website on the Country Town House Magazine where they were on the most luxurious mattresses In the world section alongside Hastens and Savoir. The website is absolutely brilliant with great advice that’s to the point and not just paragraph after paragraph of absolute nonsense. I needed a new mattress as my current mattress was past it’s due date and I rang and spoke to Reese in the office. I told him how I suffered from hip pains and after speaking to me for over an hour and answering all my questions in detail he suggested the Winstons Premier Wool mattress in a soft comfort grade. He told me the medium I was advised to buy was not right as I only weigh 8 stones and sleep on my side.
He advised me companies who don’t offer soft springs is generally due to them not getting enough sales for soft tension mattresses and therefore don’t like to invest into them and would rather just sell people medium springs as they are the best sellers. This ends up with the companies not being left with stock but leaving the customer with the wrong tension. This made sense as I found so many retailers who just don’t offer a soft spring and when I ask them why they only say they are no good but when the likes of Vispring, hastens, savoir and Winston’s who are all luxury companies offering them, then how can they not be any good! Anyhow delivery was prompt and as promised over the phone. The gentlemen who delivered were also lovely. I have received a top class service all round. And the mattress is the best I have ever had. I no longer have hip pains which I’m very grateful for!”

“We purchased a Winstons No1 mattress 8 months ago. We had a vi-spring magnificence mattress before which cost us in excess of £9000.
We looked around on the internet and in stores and I will say right now I could not find any company apart from Winstons, Hastens and Savoir who compared to Vispring in terms of luxury. I contacted each company and Winstons offered the best value for money. There specs were considerably better than the competitors, reviews are excellent though not as many as the others.
When the mattress arrived it was very heavy and extremely well made. The couriers made there views pretty clear when he said we have purchased a beast of a mattress and Winstons were the heaviest mattresses they delivered and the only company they have never had a return from. This gave me peace of mind instantly.
The mattress has seven rows of side stitching and looks amazing. Winstons advised the upholstery layers were predominantly hand teased which solidified their luxury status for me and it feels considerably more plush than our vi-spring magnificence with excellent support.
8 months on and overall the Winstons No1 has gave us the best nights of sleep we have had and both me and my partner no longer wake up with aches and pains. My lower back pain has also subsided.
We are very happy. We are still shocked we got such a luxurious mattress at only £3499.99. It feels more luxurious than the vi-spring magnificence, there is more sink in' in the top layers and significantly more support. The Winstons No1 is certainly an improvement
The customer service was also excellent. If you want the best mattresses in the UK then these guys have really nailed it!”
