About Stringers Music:

Stringers of Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s longest established and most respected musical instrument dealers. We supply violins, violas, cellos and bows of all levels and offer the highest standard in repair and restoration. Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. In both shops, all of our staff members are proficient string players, many are former or current teachers, and always happy to help and advise. All instruments are set up by our team of expert restorers in our on-site workshops and played and assessed by staff before going on sale.

“Stringer have (on two occasions) shown great flexibility and kindness when working out the logistics of transporting an instrument to Edinburgh and London from York. They arranged a replacement instrument while work was being done to a violin and could not have been more helpful. The quality of the work was exceptional and I will always use them.
