“The fee of £1,995 is undoubtedly expensive, particularly as they also earn commission from the mortgage lender so it does feel to begin with that the company is taking advantage of people in a desperate situation. However, the level of customer service me and my partner experienced was superb and, to some extent, justified the fee. My issue was a £189 CCJ which had been settled for nearly 5 years but still caused some issues getting a good rate/acceptance at all, particularly at 95% LTV despite my current credit score position being excellent. David White and Charlotte guided me through the process every step of the way with quick responses to my questions in what was a very stressful time. They sorted me the best rate I had been quoted, even before the CCJ became an issue, with a top 5 high street bank and made the dream of owning our first home possible. Would definitely recommend, particularly if you have been let down by a "Computer says no" broker like L&C. Only reason not 5 star is I think the fee is too expensive when commission is earned on top.”

“Good friendly staff did what we needed can’t really say much more it was all spot on and we were always told what was happening , only downfall you get passed about a little to start with would be better with one person from start to finish in my eyes but I would defiantly recommend to friends”

“Can not recommend this company enough. For start to finish there are so helpful. Staff are so friendly. From being told from others that We won’t get a mortgage then going to these and their get us mortgage from high street lender is unreal. Will be recommending to everyone I know who wants a mortgage. “Cut a long story short couldn't get a mortage due to a ccj had lenders that didn't want my business.. got recommended to use simply and boy did they deliver.. If you even have doubt that you won't be accepted for a mortgage give the simply people a call and watch them work their magic and get you accepted for a mortgage in no time. Highly recommended. The team were awsome always there to talk to you whether how small or stupid my enquiries were..Shout out's to Adrian who was awsome from the initial call who said he will be able to help me and did so by getting me a mortgage in principle. David who took my case further and got me prepared for the next steps.Jackie who was awsome who explained what was going to happen further on. Jenny who was absolutely amazing who got all the paperwork into tip top order so that it was best presentable to the lender. Amazing service and an amazing team when all hope was lost they were the people who got me through the rough times to having a mortage offer accepted. Thank you so much simply.. Don't waste your time give these guys a call straight away.”

“Rob provided a good service, he got us a mortgage with a 10% deposit. The process was frustrating at times due to the amount of information the lender wanted but he got us what we wanted so it was worth it. Rob explained the process at each stage. I would highly recommend Mortgage Thoughts.”
