“Well - I wouldn’t call it a “safety razor” for starters. I ended up with shave burn on my thighs and shaving rash / blood spots all over my legs! And to top it all off half of my leg came off on the blade. A bit too close of a shave for my liking. The only thing I did like was that it was effective in getting the very fine hairs that standard razors don’t remove! (You know the ones on your thighs)”

Thanks for the review Heather! It sounds like you are doing one of two things, or both: applying too much pressure (you shouldn't ever apply pressure, let the razor do the work) or your bottom head plate is upside down (and you're applying pressure). Our razors are closed comb with a scalloped edge, so they're not aggressive like open comb razors. Please please please refer to our Ultimate Shaving Guide before attempting another shave. Pressure, angle and patience are key to a smooth and clean shave. “This razor is absolutely amazing. The weight of it helps to not apply too much pressure. And I enjoy the aspect of reduced wastage. I recommended it to my friend because I feel like the quality is really high and gives me a close shave. It took a bit of time to get used to but after it becomes easy. Just a quick clean and replace the blade. I like to exfoliate my body first which gives a better shave and make sure to moisturise after. The company itself are really helpful and they care about their customers”

“I've noticed a lot of Shoreline Shaving reviews start with "I love..." and I think that says it all. I absolutely adore my razor and as of next week I will have used it every morning for six months. I really like that caring for my razor makes a lot of difference. So many things nowadays aren't worth maintaining because they've been designed to be cheap and used only for a short while and then replaced. Shoreline shaving say their razors are for life which is so brilliant. My razor has been used every morning for 6 months (except for maybe 4 days) and it still looks brand new (see attached image). I keep it clean and take care of it and it really shows. I just love it.”

“Love using this razor! Environmentally friendly with easily recyclable components , cost effective and works exceptionally well! I will say it does take a bit of time to get used to, but shore line have a lot of promotional information that offers tips to avoid nicks etc”
