From my early days of playing bridge, I have loved the No Fear bridge activities to reinforce and practice the conventions introduced in lessons. The quizzes and games are great fun as well as giving useful practice in a different way to playing the games.

nofearbridge is the perfect platform for beginners through to experienced regular players. For beginners it provides learning paths, bidding practice, playing hands and quizzes to measure your progress. I have so far concentrated on the bidding process and have now grasped most of the conventions to my satisfaction with the occasional help from the crib sheet. I test myself weekly with the quiz. I prefer the instant feedback format. Use the 2 week free trial to try all the features and you will be impressed.

Since joining NFB my understanding of learning bridge has improved. I enjoy playing the diversity of the practice hand and the quizzes I play on the live social bridge site and think that it's great.

You provide superb teaching and learning resources........but I still find the hands of the day difficult to get right first time.

I recommend nofearbridge to all my beginners(via the special link) it's the best for extra practice and learning. It's great for the consolidation of play and bidding and they all love it(I just point them where to go) I have been teaching for over 35 years and I have never found a better site for learning, practice and a source of great material.... I even use it via a screen/Laptop for some of my lessons.

For me, practice, practice, practice is the key to helping me raise my percentages. No Fear Bridge gives me the opportunity to see where I am going wrong and then challenge me to try and get it right! I use NFB constantly as a practice tool, and always recommend it to new players at our club. It goes without saying it was a godsend during lockdown too, stopping me from 'missing out' on my beloved bridge. I would not be without it.

Great website. Just can’t remember which section I’m on when doing lessons and practices if I haven’t done for a few days. Would love way of ticking off or recording all the lessons I’ve done with scoring etc. So I can go back and continue. Really happy otherwise and making progress.

Hi Elizabeth Thanks for your review. You can track your progress in the lessons as follows: At the bottom of the list of lesson activities click on 'Mark Lesson Completed' when you have finished the lesson. Then when you return you will see a date tag next to the lesson you completed. Best Regards Leigh

I just absolutely love it with a passion! The variety, the fun way it works, you take it at your own pace, the methodologies really do work at improving me fast. It was recommended by my club. NFB just has to be a part of a persons bridge learning if they want to learn in an efficient, complete and fun way.

I very much enjoy the random hands, some of which are very taxing, and the very helpful commentaries. It would be really interesting for a commentary too on the bidding as sometimes I don’t understand how or why N/S ended up in those contracts, probably because I’m not yet advanced enough but it would help me learn.

A perfect way to start learning Bridge before going on to play with friends who may have been playing for a while.

I find it suits my kind of play. Not an avid player but wish to improve my basic skills when I find the time. I am working through the beginner's tutorials and enjoy testing my newfound knowledge with the quizzes particularly as it allows me to go back on those I get wrong. Also. I can repeat the same quiz as a fresher late.r

I really enjoy using NFB. I go on every day and do the hands of the day, do all the quizes on Mondays and have started joining the duplicate session on Friday afternoons. I also use the tutorials and like the millionaire exercises as I have find the repetition helps me retain information. I have been very impressed at the quality of the software - the duplicate sessions are really easy to navigate around. I wonder if it would be possible when playing the practice hands to replay with the solution visible? I don't find the defence hands software quite as user friendly as some of the others. Well worth the fee, my confidence, knowledge and ability are all growing daily. Thanks.

Hi Jane Thanks for your review. Yes you can replay the hands with the solution visible. Declarer Hands: Click on the 'commentary' button on the bottom tool bar. Defence Hands: After playing the hand the first time, click on 'Replay with Hints'. Best Regards Leigh
