Excellent. Especially enjoy the weekly activities, the quizzes and playing the random hands. While I have been playing Bridge for a few years these have helped me think much more strategically about my play.

NFB has helped me expand my way of thinking about each play of the card. Example, as the Declarer, to create a void as soon as possible.

I began learning Bridge at the beginning of the year, and find this website very useful. I go onto it most days practicing bidding and moves.

Excellent platform for learning bridge

Some of the quizzes answers require short suit add on points. For the beginner this detracts from the basic learning experience. Can you have alternatives with option. Use add on points yes/no. I am a great fan. Started bridge 3 months ago

No fear bridge is essential in those early bridge learning years. It continues to be useful afterwards too but especially when learning the crib sheet, tutorials, quizzes are fantastic.

I started to learn Bridge on a cruise ship, and No Fear Bridge was recommended by a fellow cruiser as an excellent way to continue learning. Returning home, we kept in touch and we now have a teacher who gives us 2 hours face to face tuition a week. He also recommended us to use No Fear Bridge between lessons. I find the clear instructions, hints and tips and quizzes easy to follow and as it is always available I can dip in and out at ease.

As a beginner it is great to practice without letting a partner down.

It’s helping in my declarer play and bidding. Haven’t tried anything else. When using it on my MacBook it freezes sometimes. Not sure if it’s my Mac or not.

My wife and I very much enjoy the live bridge sessions on Mon/Thu (beginner room), and especially enjoy the Friday Duplicate session. We also usually do the Declarer hand of the day, which is helpful for planning the play. The NFB crib sheet is also useful, although I have one question - in the overcall section, the crib sheet states "After an overcall at the two level: Responses are the same as if partner opened the bidding". I'm not sure I fully understand this - if partner opened at the 2-level that would typically be a weak 2 opening. I'm guessing it just means the overcall responder should assume their overcalling partner to have around 10 points and bid as if the partnership had opened and bid up to the 2-level? Is that right? Maybe this could be clarified on the crib sheet? If you have any further info on this, please let me know at catweazle9@outlook.com. Ah yes, one final thing, the crib sheet doesn't cover responder's rebid, although I haven't seen this covered in any of the other crib sheets I've found on the internet. Maybe there are just too many combinations but some guidance here could be helpful (there's a chapter about responder's rebid in Paul Mendelson's book "the right way to play bridge", but a crib-sheet summary would be good).

Hi, I was already a player of basic bridge but when I joined my local club I realised how little I knew and that if I wanted to improve my game I needed a program to help me. Nofearbridge is exactly what I was looking for. There is everything you need to learn bridge from scratch. I find the bidding tutorials very useful and seeing your mistakes really helps me. I don,t think there is a short cut to learning the game, but just like learning a new language get the basics right then practice, practice, and practice some more. Good luck everyone Len Caton.

I've been playing bridge for over 20 years and have been very conscious of not bidding above 3NT because of a lack of knowledge (or things I,ve forgotten) . NFB is helping me remember and re-learn things to improve my play. So far so good.

To begin my zoom bridge lessons I did the minibridge course. This was very well explained. I now do as many of the quizzes and tutorials and playing the cards I have time for every day. The different ways of teaching have helped me learn and remember this complicated game.
