What can I say about my experience with MyExpatsSIPP….POSITIVE, POSITIVE & POSITIVE. I am a new and recent client of MyExpatsSIPP (2023). From the very start of contacting them and to the current time, the administrators have never failed in promptly responding to my emails with various questions and providing clear and consistent explanations. No questions were overlooked. I had a pension plan with Scottish Widows and wanted to transfer to a drawdown plan, to have access for my daughter’s further education in the UK, but as an expat, this was not possible. However, communicating with MyExpatsSIPP, I was provided with detailed information as to the option of SIPP and after several months of paperwork with Scottish Widows, the transfer finally took place. MyExpatsSIPP administrators had also contacted Scottish Widows to see if they required any further information from MyExpatsSIPP with this transfer. MyExpatsSIPP updated me with every step they took with their communication with Scottish Widows. I am completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service and believe efficiency and punctuality are the hallmarks of their service. I am very satisfied with their services.

First thing to say is well done this firm for spotting a gap in the mkt and filling it. For the set of people who have or want a SIPP in the UK but are not in the UK it would be very difficult if not impossible without this company so for that reason alone I feel they have to get at least 4 stars. Beyond that a mixture of great and poor i would say. The great is their customer service the team is very responsive and efficient. The onboarding process is also great. The OK is their fees - they a bit high and varied but overall they are fair and prob reflect amount of work they need to do The poor is the stock execution offering - if you are used to a proper stockbroker you will be very disappointed, and probably puzzled - high fees, high FX conversion charges, and HORRIBLE execution - you dont get the LSE price you get routed to some predatory stockbroker that thinks because you are retail they can gouge you + you cant leave limit orders or stop orders or anything its really a bizarre portal. only really suitable for long term hold set and forget

Hi Andrew, thank you for leaving us a review and for the positive comments about our customer service. With regards to the dealing process, when you request a quote on the platform, we receive prices from a panel of Retail Services Providers (RSPs), also called market makers. We take the best price from the panel of RSPs which is the price quote you will be shown on your order screen. When you accept the quote, your order is executed at that price. We don't have any control over the prices received from the RSPs and we use the same dealing process and RSP network as most of the major UK platforms, HL etc. If you'd like some more information on the dealing process, please email the support team on support@myexpatsipp.com and we'll be happy to assist. Best regards David

MyExpatSIPP made the transfer of my UK pension fund to Australia so much easier than it could have been and considerably more cost-effective too. I won't pretend the transfer process was straightforward (there are far too many legal hurdles for that!) but of all the people I had to deal with Cameron and David were by far the most helpful and efficient. Thank you guys (and your backroom staff).

Great service in this somewhat difficult and niche area of finance. Saved me a fortune in expensive & superficial hand-holding by 'advisors' who essentially do nothing and add no value.

MyExpatSIPP answered my emailed questions before I decided to transfer a pension. There was never any pressure to sign up. I live in the US and was worried about how to choose a UK company to hold my pension account. There was enough information on the MyExpatSIPP website for me to verify the company's status in the FCA Financial Services Register. Once I initiated the pension transfer, all interactions with staff at MyExpatSIPP were positive. I could ask questions and get immediate answers and all glitches were handled promptly. The SIPP platform is fairly basic but I now have far more control over my investments and withdrawals than I had with a large pension company.

Very responsive and proactive. Transferring was easy due to MyExpatSIPP. It reinforced my decision to transfer as my previous pension company was the complete opposite.

I have only been a client of MyExpatSIPP for a little while, but, so far I can say my experience with them has been very positive. In the last few months I had been looking to move my pension fund from a self-invested QROPS to a UK SIPP. Trawling the internet, I happened upon their website, along with several others that seemed to provide the model I was looking for: suitable for non-UK residents, with no financial advisor requirement (self-invested) and with a wide-ranging online investment platform. Their website was far and away the most informative and transparent. Over a series of 3 emails I got all my initial queries answered courteously and, considering the eight hour time difference, for the most part promptly. Having decided to go with them they had a video call with me to 'dot the i's and cross the t's'. The entire transfer process - from online SIPP application to trading the fund in the SIPP - apart from 1 slight initial communications hiccup, was completed within a month and with minimal effort on my part - everything was done online/via email. Their fees and charges are reasonable and very competitive. The multi-currency trading platform has a huge spectrum of investment options and functionality is fine for its purpose but is not as comprehensive as a professional trader would want. Also be aware of the costs of trading (e.g mark-up on market price for ETF/share purchases, initial charges on OEICs). I am very pleased with MyExpatSIPP so far, and would happily recommend them to other expats (or UK residents!)

As a Brit now living in Canada, MyExpatSIPP has been a great help consolidating my UK pensions into a single, cost-effective SIPP. It's easy to setup, simple to navigate and all with a service-first, no-pressure ethos.
