“I was recently put in an extremely difficult position by a lender and required Independent Legal Advice in a very short space of time (approximately two hours). I contacted Lawyers Online at around 13:50 and by 15:00 the advice had been given and the paperwork sent out. “Probably the best legal service you could ever get and at a very reasonable price. My question was relating to a lease which I read but was confused by the jargon. So I paid £70 or so with my query. “AVOID OR EXPECT EXTORTIONATE FEES Patrick comes across as a very pleasant person and very thorough. But when it comes to keeping you informed about how much you are spending with him he's totally unprofessional. If you make the mistake I did and engage him as your solicitor be prepared for unexpected huge fees that he never justifies with a breakdown. Be prepared for him to go silent on you, not replying to your phone calls or emails when you challenge his extortionate fees and be prepared to go to the Solicitor's Regulatory Authority and the Legal Ombudsman. Finally AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”
