I ordered new old stock ex police jacket and when I received it- it had multiple stains on it as it had been worn quite a few times very disappointed by the lack of checks / quality control i would like a shipping label sent to me and a full refund

Company and products look great (on the website). Unfortunately, I'll never know if they are any good, since the courier (DPD) took a photo of some random location (not my house / address) to "prove" that I wasn't in. Anyway, long story short, Jay (FU&K) was polite, but didn't facilitate a (re)delivery that day or anytime soon. So, I've asked for a refund, which will, no doubt, take over a week. All in all, a day off work, a wasted morning emailing, with no goods to show for it. FU'kit, indeed!

I've purchased a pair of boots from this company Grade 1. They arrived and are absolutely worn to death. I sent photographic evidence. The heels are around 2cm lower on one side, laces frayed, the leather battered, soles worn out to be told because they are rare that is their GRADE 1 as inspected by their inspection specialist! He needs his eyes seriously tested! I wish I could attach the photograph as they are truly laughable! You can only email this company. They are certainly playing on the 'What can you possibly do about it' when they are 200 miles away! Avoid if you want to foot a £15 (2 way) postage cost if they send you a pile of tat!

Hi Donna, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Our boot specialist has been grading boots for over 30 years at this company. We have no intention nor the need to oversell our products. It was clearly stated in our description that the boots will be used and will show various signs of wear. Your description of the wear is erroneous, as a 2cm deficit in heel would amount to no heel at all. The boots were of Grade 1 standard and we're sorry that you were unhappy with the condition. We would suggest buying Super Grade if you wish to buy a pair that is close to new. Finally, as a gesture from us we did refund one of the carriages to end this dispute - so you did not have to pay for both ways. Best regards, Jay Moss

Sorry, but we don't understand the question. All of our German para boots have sizes listed in German three digit Mondo system sizes - not UK sizes. And the range goes well past UK size 11 equivalent. Are you sure you're looking at our web site?

Ordered 2 Items from the site. First of all DPD local never even rang the doorbell and just left the parcel next to the door took a picture and stated I had received it personally. Secondly upon opening the parcel there is only 1 Item in the package. Tried to find a contact number for both DPD local and Forces Uniforms and Kit and of course there are no Contact numbers, only emails. Now I needed the items for a weekend trip which is now in doubt. I suppose sometimes its better spending a few more pounds and make sure you use a reputable company.

Hi Enzo We are very sorry to see this review and of course, we apologise for having left the bivvy bag out of your package. You must have posted the Review immediately after sending us your email enquiry as we immediately advised you that the bivvy bag was being dispatched at that moment, and has indeed been collected by DPD for Next Day delivery. We agree it will probably fail to arrive before you need it and so, once again, we apologise for this failure. With regards DPD stating you accepted delivery, then that is against their stated service promise, and the local depot will be advised. Please note, that if you have previously advised DPD that it is acceptable to leave a parcel they were going to deliver, without your accepting it personally, then they will continue to do so until you alter that instruction. Reputable companies like us do appreciate that negative feedback is always embarrassing, and so we do once again apologise for this extremely serious failing, but we would like to reassure other potential customers that your experience was certainly not representative of our usually great delivery standard. Finally, regarding the lack of a telephone number on our web site, this is because we are a very small business, and emails are easier to manage as a result.

Returned part of my order at my own cost but was refunded substantially less than the cost of the goods purchased. I queried this with the seller who made another partial refund citing a "clerical error" that was still less than the cost of goods returned. Queried again and was told this was to cover shipping costs despite my original order qualifying for free delivery. I asked to be directed to the relevant part of their terms and conditions since I have never encountered retroactive shipping charges like this despite doing most of my shopping online. Looking at reviews left by others this is clearly a recurring issue. I suggest you disregard the seller's reply stating that they do not engage in this cynical and dishonest practice. I suggest you shop elsewhere. Failing that, be prepared to double check your receipts for "clerical errors" and other discrepancies.

They send you an item that bears no resemblance to the item shown on the website, and charge you postage. Then when you return it they do not refund you the postage that you have paid to return the item.

Ordered a pair of grade 1 boots, minor signs of wear, they had a hole in the toe box of the suede and no insoles and were filthy, after returning them the owner said they met the description of minor signs of wear and the rip in the suede (right on the eyelet which would clearly pull out soon) was "visual", refused to refund postage.

I am giving the product I purchased, large red ex post bag, 1 star purely because I can't give a minus! Since buying this product I have had 2 issues, the first being the strap from the bag to the shoulder strap tore away After only 3 days, I was given back my shipping fee as a " token of good will". After Stitching one part of the shoulder strap back together myself the other side of said strap tore away from the bag completely rendering it unusable and worthless. After contacting the company by email about the issues, getting no response yet about the latest issue, I am imagining that nothing will be done as I am outside the returns window. Just wish I could post photos.

Customers should be reassured that Forces Uniform and Kit will honour any request for full refunds of any initial payments including delivery charges. The negative review above was left before we had the opportunity to refund and we apologised to this customer for that delay.

Where to start? Was a regular customer with this company for years. Initial purchases met or exceeded expectation. Lately though? They do source good products but quality control has evaporated. Items mismatched their description, some were sent in the wrong size (without refund of postage) and management queries promised 'We'll look into this'. Nobody ever did. Or at least they didn't have the courtesy to say so. Better looking elsewhere for surplus gear.

Now I have chosen to live without a mobile phone so I cannot order from them! When I emailed a complaint to get this sorted, I got a terse, ignorant, email basically saying ho hum. There were no questions regarding what the problem was? How could it be sorted out? All I can say is that you have lost a customer because of your bone idol attitude towards customer care or lack of in this case!

I bought a pair of combat boots. They didnt arrive for 2 months, so I emailed back and forth with the company. they told me they'd fix it, they never did. I never got my combat boots, nor did I get a refund. They eventually stopped replying.

Repeat customer with this company. But not again. Austrian M65 Jacket advertised as 'Goretex' comes with the inferior Sympatex lining. The company now a 'small print' clause below the display photos qualifying this. That may have been there at time of purchase but I don't recall it. Either way, the jacket is not fit for purpose. Been soaked several times, despite following washing instructions to the letter. The jacket has now been discarded. Don't understand why it simply couldn't have been advertised as Sympatex from the outset.

I have had this style of boot before and they are so comfortable to wear and my last pair lasted over 4 years. However this pair have lasted less than 5 days befor the soul fell off. i have paid £9.00 to return them, over a week ago and have not heard anything from the company, i do hope there will be some compensatiom on the cost of the return.

The bag was damp and smells, some ones name on it and has been sown up so many times not fit for what I want it for. Nothing like the photos advertising it !!!

I ordered Bw tropentarn parka to fit 48” chest. It took 2 weeks to get it and it was far too small. Bw Numbers was not informed in size selection. It should have been 11. It was 4. It cost 30€ to send it back. I tried several times to get contact by email. NO answer. With German shops never had no problems. It was the last time to order anything from this shop!
