About Collier Turf Care:

Collier Turf Care is a privately owned supplier to the sports and amenity market; known for high quality products, expert advice and professional services.

Key suppliers include Aquatrols, Barclay, Barenbrug, Harrod Sport, ICL, Olmix, Prestige and Vitax. Within these we stock brands such as Gallup, Barenbrug Sport, Marathon, Roundup and many others.

Our customers include golf clubs, bowls & cricket clubs, football & rugby clubs, private schools, local authorities and large private gardens.

Our distribution centre is based in Norfolk and is fully BASIS registered. From this centre we supply and advise to customers throughout the UK.

We deliver using mainly our own fleet of vehicles backed up by specialist contractors and aim to give the very highest level of service to our customers. Our drivers are all trained in the handling and delivery of chemicals as are all our support staff.

“The only problem that I have with the whole process is the fact that I ordered and was delivered 5 bags of material with a total weight of in excess of 110kg. These materials were delivered in five separate cardboard boxes. I would have thought it would have been far more sensible to have delivered on a single shrink wrapped pallet.”

Good afternoon Ian and thank you for your feedback. As a business it is not cost effective to deliver any of our goods on a pallet until the total weight of the goods reaches 200kg. As a result of this, this is why you have received your goods in five separate boxes. Each box is only capable of holding 25kg, if we were to condense these boxes and try to fit your goods into less boxes, this would heighten the risk of you receiving your goods damaged, which we certainly do not want.

“Very Good service, but getting a receipt for paid goods is impossible until the goods are delivered. For people buying for clubs not getting an invoice means individuals waiting for there money until goods delivered which could take time. Otherwise a good company and very helpful.”

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. It is our policy not to provide a receipt/invoice to our customers until the goods are delivered. This is an automated process I'm afraid. You should however get an automated order acknowledgement email once your order is processed on our systems.

“I have repeatedly ask that the delivery driver get in touch so that we know when the delivery is due. I know the drivers are asked, so far not one driver has bothered to ring to say when they think they’ll arrive. In future we will not wish to pay Collier if this simple request is not done. None of our members live near the bowls green so all deliveries are made to private houses, and therefore sit on their doorsteps. It’s just not good enough.”

Good afternoon. Thank you for your feedback. When our deliveries leave our warehouse the courier company are suppose to contact you with a set day and approx. time for delivery. Unfortunately in this instance, this hasn't happened. We sincerely apologise for this and will feed this back to the courier company so in future you should be contacted for your deliveries, as requested.

“We were expecting at least a week before our order came but so surprised to receive an email notifying us of next day delivery. Delivery staff are very polite and helpful putting packages exactly where needed. Items we have ordered have been excellent doing exactly what they say they will do! Everything comes well packaged. A very satisfied customer.”

“Allegedly delivered last week by Fed Ex though not to my address. Have chased your company three times now and it appears that you are going to deliver a repeat order asap. Not very happy, particularly with the total incompetence of Fed Ex and also what appears to be an inadequate relationship between your company and Fed Ex.”
