Got charged vat and duty of €32. not impressed

Hi Tadgh, Unfortunately due to the UK exiting the EU we cannot absorb the cost of Tax Import fees within the EU. We deduct VAT from the price when you check out, the original cost of the garment was £96.00 & you paid £80.00. I hope you understand why we cannot cover the cost. Kind regards, Aristocrat

I paid for next day delivery and it’s now been a week and still not received anything. I have tried ringing and emailing but no response. Not happy!!!!

Hi Liam, We are sorry to see this review, we contacted you via phone and email regarding this parcel on Thursday and have not received any response on our email or webchat. Your parcel is currently in a depot awaiting further information as it was missing a house number on your address, we were informed of this on Thursday and have been awaiting a response so we can get this despatched to you as soon as possible. As an independent retailer we pride ourselves on our customer service and we are sorry that you feel this way. Very poor communication with the customer, apart that the invoice is unclear and you get the “surprises” (extra charges) from the courier company!!

Hi George, We are sorry you feel we have not communicated with you. We send multiple emails from the moment of sale and included in our despatch email a link to DPD Local, our courier. You are able to track the shipment and find the information on there as well as on our website regarding customs fees, which unfortunately as an independent retailer we cannot cover the costs of and it is out of our control. Once you told us to cancel the order at the refusal of the customs fees we communicated with you immediately and told you that would be refunded once the item has returned to us. Ordered an overshirt and payment completed but got an email the following day saying cancelled as not in stock? Why was it available to buy then? Really disappointing as you have to wait for money to go and show back into account

Hi Robbie, Apologies for the delay, it was dispatched yesterday and we do not charge for next day delivery. If you had contacted us we would have been able to ask DPD what the issue is, it seems to be an issue with the depot as it is a busy time of year. I will keep an eye out and raise a flag with DPD regarding this. Kind Regards, Kevin
