Worst experience in my life .The store Menager in city centre broke my computer and offered me 60 e for that .He didn’t take any responsibility for that what he did .Never again

I purchased a set of AirPods Pro from the Hinckley store. After a few months I misplaced them somewhere in my home. No worries, I thought, I’ll use the Find My app to locate the AirPods. To my surprise, this didn’t work and the app was stating that the AirPods were not a matching pair and could therefore not be located using the app. No worries, I said to myself, when they turn up I’ll pop in to CeX as they’re under warranty. I found them later that day in my coat pocket. When visiting the store and explaining the issue, I was immediately quizzed about why I had left it this long to raise the issue with them, and was asked why I hadn’t tested this issue prior to now. I explained that I’d had no reason to test this feature until recently, as I’d never lost the AirPods and assumed (incorrectly) that the store would have tested this feature before buying them in. A few more eye rolls and accusatory questions later, they begrudgingly booked them in for testing and advised they’d call me when they’d completed their tests. Two weeks go by, and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. I decide to call in to the store and received no apology for the lack of communication. I was met with the same accusatory questions about the length of time I’d owned them, and was told that I’d owned them for too long for them to be covered. So much for the 2 year warranty! Another team member came to me and confirmed that the tester had found the fault, but that I’d owned them for too long for them to repair or replace them. Bearing in mind I’ve only owned them for about 3 months now. I asked if this feature was tested and asked to see proof, but was met with a dismissive confirmation that a ‘box had been ticked’. I suggested he verify the serial numbers of the AirPods against their records, and apparently they do not record the serial numbers of AirPods. So… their conclusion was that I just have ‘mixed them up’ with another set. The store failed to keep accurate records and now I’m the one with a faulty product, and being accused of lying and trying to scam them. After arguing my point, he connected them to his phone, claiming that AirPods sometimes behave in this manner… and the fault was actually not present. I agreed to give him the benefit of the doubt at this point, and he told me to come back if I experienced any further issues. Upon returning to the office I immediately connected them to my phone, and the fault was still present. I returned to CeX a few days later and again had the same nonsense excuses. I asked to speak to the manager and he didn’t even take the time to speak to me and just returned his staff member with the same appalling excuse. He said, ‘don’t worry, they still work though!’. I argued that I had paid full price for a product that is not fully functional, and that was now worth considerably less if I chose to re-sell them. I raised the issue with their head office, and now the store have gone back to them to advise that ‘they’re definitely not the AirPods we sold because they look different’. Disgraceful. The only way they can prove what they’ve sold is to record the serial numbers, and they didn’t do this! They also told head office that the tester did NOT find the same fault which is a complete lie. I’ve spent so much money with CeX over the years and I’ve always bought with confidence. Never again.

Ordered smart keyboard case for ipad 11 2nd gen from Cex 2 times and every time they post me cases for the 1st gen although I asked them to make sure it is for 2nd gen. In a few months I had to return at least 5 products ordered from them and in most cases because of wrong item posted!!! 17646095

You sent out a PS4 without clearly full testing it . It arrived without the Controller usb lead which is required at the start of set up. So we borrowed a cable. Plugged it into the ps4 and controller and it would not accept it. So we then borrowed a controller and still the ps4 would not display the set up screen . Worst of all you can’t telephone CEX to sort it out. You have to fill in a on line form that says it can take 72 hours for them to reply. Not happy.

Mucho cuidado te venden un artículo manipulado como nuevo. Obviamente tu no sabes que esta manipulado. Y 3 meses después cuando el articulo ya no funciona descubres que la famosa garantía no te cubre por estar manipulado. Manipulado? Por quién si es nuevo y tiene garantía? Todo el mundo se lavan las manos y tu te quedas con un artículo que no funciona y sin tu dinero. Y ahora contestaran a esto diciendo que los contacte..... para darme la misma solución. NINGUNA

Bunch of robbing c***s bought a Samsung phone from the epsom store on Fri and was told by the member of staff if you return the phone within 48hrs you will get a full refund took the phone back today Sunday, and your staff offered me a £75 voucher are you f****n kidding me so I've lost out £60 thankfully I have sold the phone but I will never step foot in your robbing shop again , absolute joke of a company

Terrible service. I would never order from them EVER again! Charged 2.95 delivery fee on a very small item to wait which is now the 9th July and i payed for them on 28th! I've been told to wait upto 14 days!!! Why am I being charged 2.95 then to wait upto 14 days. 2.95 should be first class but it's obviously not because they make more money out off you. Rip off service! They won't refund me or look into this until it reaches 14 days. Laughable! They tell me item is dispatched when actually royal mail are waiting on it, I've been told by royal mail they have not sent it. Cex are lying to me.

Bought an Iphone 14 pro in Jan 23 after trading in old iphone 11. Total cast £925 less trade in £210 , so paid £715. The phone suddenly stopped working and after consulting both Apple support and Vodafone I was told my phone was blacklisted - it was a stolen phone. I requested my money back and was told That I could only get vouchers and the value of these was far lower than what i had paid. The shop was not able to exchange my phone to another phone with the same quality eg. Storage and quality. I am disgusted with CEX

Bought an apple ultra watch and strap worth £580 been told by one of the team I got 48 hours to return it if I change my mind to get my money back sadly I wasn't able to to try it in the shop so went home tried it and it was too big too heavy so went back to the store straight away properly after 1 hour to be told they can't give my money back it has to credit voucher so I can use it again in the store only . Really disappointed as I was left with my family short off this money on this difficult time when I did nothing wrong. Never again and be advised people once you pay them don't expect your money back it's going to be a credit note to use only in there store.

Their website is hugely misleading. My daughter wished to purchase a refurbished set of Airpods, as her own had stopped working. She spent time looking through numerous websites, but CEX seemed to have the best deals. Both she and I looked at numerous advertisements on their page for 2nd Gen Airpods and the link below is just one example. We then proceeded to call into CEX Newbridge (Whitewater) to purchase the product... only to be informed by the staff that it was the charging case only!! I proceeded to show him the website page for this product and explained to him that the picture shows the airpods in the charging case and the title mentions the airpods, with the wording charging case in brackets. But the most misleading part of the page was written within the Product Description: 'The AirPods deliver the wireless headphone experience, reimagined. Just pull them out of the charging case and they’re ready to use with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac. After a simple one-tap setup, the AirPods work like magic. They’re automatically on and always connected. The AirPods can even sense when they’re in your ears and pause when you take them out. To adjust the volume, change the song, make a call or even get directions, simply say “Hey Siri” and make your request. You have the freedom to wear one or both the AirPods and you can play or skip forward with a double-tap when listening to music or podcasts. Well, I didn't, as I, until now, was not aware of the price of airpods new. To say my daughter was disappointed was an understatement. CEX in fairness have reached out to me about this, but have said they did not mislead in all the ways I mentioned, but only some!! Its such a pity this happened. Worst company ever!!! I bought Samsung tablet today of them and it didn't switch for me in the car when I desided to check how it works but coming back an hour later saying that they said I dropped it and that was why it didn't work. I disn't get my money back which is disgrace. I didn't do anything to that tablet but I can't confirm!!! What should I do I don't know. I'm absolutely shocked and lost, and dipressed :( Never had such experiencw before!

Zaterdag heb ik bij jullie een headset besteld. Even later krijg ik het bericht dat ik hem morgen (vandaag) kan ophalen. Google en maps en jullie website geven aan dat jullie vandaag open zijn. Ik kom naar de winkel (kost me alles bij elkaar 1.5 uur) om vervolgens tot de conclusie te komen dat jullie gesloten zijn (briefje op de deur). Deze manier van onjuiste informatie verstrekken en aanpassingen enkel en alleen te communiceren op de deur is niet van deze tijd. Zo zijn er waarschijnlijk meer klanten zoals ik geweest die voor niets naar jullie filiaal zijn gekomen. Bijzonder vervelend en van jullie kant super onprofessioneel.

Ordered a camera on 10th May - CEX told me it was dispatched that day. The last tracking status I received was that Royal Mail were expecting to receive the camera on 13th May - Special Guaranteed Delivery by 1pm the next day by the way! Ie, the camera never left the store and CEX knew this... Well CEX continued to lie and actually kept my £330 for 21 days without having actually purchased anything with it...

Put a MacBook pro in to cex to sell it as I hardly ever use it. They said they needed an hour to test it so left it with them. Came back to them telling me it hadn't passed the test as the battery power had dropped below 20% in an hour. This surprised me as I had never really used it but had kept it charged up as I charge a couple of torches through it. Went home and thought I must test it myself. So ran it for an hour with the TV on and it only dropped 8% over the hour . And when I actually looked at it in the daylight I could see they had scratched the cover in four places,they hadn't bothered to put the power cable in the tray under the computer and left it on the lid .

Ordered amazon alexa dot which arrivedti with no power cable. Cex said they accepted this alexa from seller with no cable so therefore I hot no cable. They offered a refund but that wasn't satisfactory to me.

Absolutely shocking for ordering online! I first order a product worth £30 to be delivered, said it’s in stock. Then get told 4 days later that they don’t have it available and got a refund. I wasn’t to fussed and just thought it happens so whatever never mind. But then I decide to order a second time and the product has good reviews etc and said is in stock (this is a different product worth £60). Waited a few days, the update was stuck on stock picking like the first time, like that for days until got a message saying not available and refunded. I don’t understand why they don’t keep the website up to date properly as it wastes people’s time, takes their money and then they have to wait for the refund when they don’t have the item in stock even though the website states that it’s in stock. It’s very frustrating as some people like myself are trying to purchase a birthday gift. Very bad service

I ordered from you 2 lenses for my sony a7c. The first one (samyang 45mm) arrived but it has scratches and without hood and with replacement front cap that doesn't look good either. For this reason I want to return it as I can get better for the same price from other places. The second lens hasn't even arrived. Instead you have posted me something I never ordered (see the attached image). Taking into consideration that Cex seems to be not reliable anymore I want to cancel this lens too as it looks you haven't even posted it! In addition will give you many negative reviews online due to so much stress and wasting time.
