Horrendous customer service. Company makes cancellation policies deliberately difficult to put people off in the hope that they give up. Rip off company - will definitely go to court to resolve this - bring it on !!!

244916 I have 2 systems with Verisure, 1 being over 3 years old. I requested to cancel the old system in June 2022, being told I would receive a response back within 3 working days, 2 weeks went by with nothing heard and I was charged again for the next month, I called to raise a complaint and chase my cancellation and was abused by a member of staff who shouted and swore at me and refused to help, I could also hear other staff in the background swearing and slagging off customers they had just been on the phone to. This member of staff I was advised was shortly sacked from the company for gross misconduct. It took in total 6 weeks and 5 times of me asking to directly make a formal complaint before anyone took ownership and called me back to resolve. This gentleman was Ethan from the resolutions team who gave me a resolution and agreed to give me 3 months for both system back as compensation and gesture of goodwill by the 30th September, it is now the 17th October and I have not received any of the promised compensation, I have called to chase Verisure every single day and have been fobbed off every single time with promises of call backs that never happen, I have emailed the directors office and Ethan's manager Steven Melville directly who have both read and ignored all my correspondence and I am now forced to leave this review and take the company to court as I am getting absolutely nowhere, I am extremely unhappy and want others to beware and stay away from a company who fraud customers and think it is okay to consistently lie and treat their loyal, multi system customers with the amount of disrespect I have received.

Extremely poor customer service. Promises at the start of the contract which are inaccurate at best and misleading at worst. They try to make it extremely difficult for you to get out of the contract by attempts to delay and argue. I’ve not dealt with other similar services but if this is inactive of the industry then just rely on your insurance.

In the first instance the Sales person told me a pack of lies when it came to the monthly charge. He told me it was to be under £40 when it in fact was £43 and would rise to £53 after 6 months. Already I had a very dim view of Verisure as they used underhand tactics to get business. In addition I was told the system would run perfectly on 4g but it didn’t. My house is in a very rural area and so the system in reality would always have difficulty in finding a signal. In the end an Engineer came out and said the system should not have been sold to me in the first place as wifi signals were poor and he stated many Salesman were just not up to the job!! Needless to say on his recommendation the system was removed and my money refunded even before that removal took place. Definitely a company to avoid, also the new Moonshot system was OTT for domestic premises. Just avoid or you will be disappointed and out of pocket. I have now gone to a local security firm who are more reliable, honest and trustworthy, who offer honest to goodness advice and are more cost effective. My advice, stay well clear of Verisure. I put my trust in them and I was badly let down,

So I've just been told by the resolution team after 5 months of a diabolical service the equipment I thought I paid for still belongs to them. THE PRICES SHOWN NEXT TO THE ITEMS ARE NOT THE PRICE OF THE ITEMS BUT FITTING CHARGES. Even though your given the impression your buying the equipment, but your not !!!. I am now pursuing legal action against this company for its underhand and misleading sales practices. How many other customers are under the impression they own the equipment???

Horrible company 100% a scam a salesperson came to our elderly relatives house and harassed them into having a verisure alarm even though they didn't want it as they have a fully working and serviced alarm system they get for free by a neighbour The system failed after 3 months when it went off for no reason and wouldn't turn off Verisure customer support didn't give a crap and never picked up after 45 minutes I hat to come over and rip the stuff off the wall that was double sided taped to the wall I have cancelled thier direct debit and thier equipment is going straight in the bin and trading standards will be contacted

God awful rip off. Fit a GSM system instead. Woeful liars and customer service (?). Had a 'trigger' and nothing was done, even after not being able to contact us! Someone seen & 'monitored' in the building but, nothing done. As it happens, it was one of our builders. ......but they didn't know that, unable to get hold of us.....did nothing! DD cancelled 👋

We advise strongly against just cancelling the direct debit as by cancelling your Direct Debit, this does not have any impact on the cancellation of the account and just simply removes the payment method for the invoices and allows a balance to accrue on the account. its the worst company ever DONT USE THEM they let you to pay 400£ for installation thinking it’s yours but when u cancel they r coming to get the equipment so 400£ out of the window to cancel it’s another tragedy CC non existence no one replying to emails calls nothing they just want your payment ive cancel DD ive told them and still getting txt that they want my money NO chance horrible company

I had the very great misfortune having a Verisure system installed in May at great cost together with a £50 pcm monitoring fee . I have had over 20 visits and still not working . DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE A VERISURE SYSTEM . THE KIT IS USELESS AND YOU CAN NEVER GET HOLD OF THEM . AVOID AT ALL COSTS Verisure have asked if I wish to revise my review . I do but only to say that they have still failed to contact me after making a formal complaint over two weeks ago . Never before have I come up against quite as useless a company. PLEASE AVOID .

I requested a home visit and it was scheduled for 9 am. The sales person (Dhabs) showed up 1 hour and 30 minutes late. You should show more respect towards your client or potential clients time. Reminder: first impression is the last impression!! I am sure you are aware of that. So, think about it, what impression did you leave? Do you think I will hire your service?! RESPECT PEOPLE'S TIME AND DON'T ASK VERY PERSONAL QUESTIONS DURING THE MEETING Dhabs. You go to the meeting to talk about alarm system and not about family members. Are you a social worker? Be aware of him everyone!!

Avoid ,I needed a company that was recognised by my insurance company ,the salesman came round and showed me the system and all looked good ,confirmed it as acceptable to the insurance company ,he said he could fit the next day and offered further discount if I agreed there and then ,reminded me of the scam double glazing salesmen of way back . I did some research not on their review site but this one where the results are only published on all reviews , They are not accredited to professional bodies recognised by insurance companies ,had I bought the system it would have been useless as I wouldn't have been covered. Be very very careful.

Have been a customer since Jun22 & during this period had to call number of times to raise issues with system…now the system has stopped completely & I am not even getting an early resolution from the company…Have decided to avail Verisure services…& would suggest same to all!!!

They certainly don't deserve a one star.… They certainly don't deserve a one star review! My alarm system has been playing up for the last month. I can't deactivate it. I didn't even set it yesterday because all the problems I had and when I got home it went off and I couldn't deactivate it again! I was promised a phone call back at 6pm after waiting 40 minutes on the telephone never happened. I stayed in and wasted the whole afternoon waiting for a guy to turn up, he was due between 2 and 4 no phone calls no excuses I left the house at 4:35pm I've spent 42 minutes waiting for their customer service got disconnected again that's about the 10th time I've done it I think. I've made the decision just to cancel my direct debit. And sending very sure a bill for £250 for time wasted ! Customer service lie through their teeth at you . Do not touch this company with a barge pole.

Absolutely diabolical from start to finish. Scam sales process where they offer the world, don’t follow through and lie to you on contract clauses and joining incentives. It’s then impossible to contact customer services to follow up as online chat and phone lines keep you on hold for st least 30 mins, then more often than not, the phone is disconnected before you can speak to someone. Waste of my time. I’m still waiting on resolution of some issues I’ve had since joining in early June this year! They did send someone out to provide me with equipment that should have been set up on the first appointment and all he done again was try to upsell, again promised the world and never to be seen or heard of again. Also took 2.5hrs to program one tag! On top of that, the alarm is not always operational and the delays on cameras etc is so bad, if there was any attempt, you’d be notified far too late! Avoid this shoddy company. They have zero integrity or care for their customers.

In this case, I am aware that a lot of our customers have been experiencing difficulties getting through to our Customer Support Team and I can only apologise for this. We have experienced an unusually high demand for these services in recent weeks and we were not prepared for the increased demand. However, this is something we are actively improving, we are taking on more staff who will increase the amount of call and chat interactions we can have, and this will in turn reduce wait times for all methods of communication. Prey on the sick and vunerable!!! The worse company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, they are just out to rob you of your valuble hard earned cash, who sells a system to a sick frail man who had just spent two months in hospital fighting for his life VERISURE do!!! They removed a ringgo full system and free NHS fall alarm for a inadequate, never installed or fitted properly system, that to date has never worked!!! Tried cancelling within the time line for being unsuitable and inadequate due to some of it still sitting on worktop as they never finished installing. The customer service is diabolicle, I would go as far as to say they have been trained to tell everyone they have tried to contact them, which as you will see from previous reviews is a lie or they just hang up. They state all calls are recorded but when asked to listen to previous call;s they cannot seem to find them. Let's hope it's never a relative or friend of theirs scammed. It is now time to contact a solicitor and try to take them to court for mis-selling, as the system never installed fully or worked and they will not adhere to their own cancellation policy. PLease avoid VERISURE at all cost as the 76 year old I am fighting for is now back in hospital and unable to fight for himself. Any company that can remove a perfectly new working free system for a payable, non working inadequate sqstem surely needs to look in a mirror they are just robbing the vunerable to line their own pockets. The word we use is THIEVING B......S if you went in a shop and stole £1000 you would get locked up how are they getting away with this!!!! AVOID at all cost and spread the word to stop this company trading!!!!

Absolutely disgusting corporation that threatens pensioners refuse’s to do the installation properly so it’s fully working which it never has from day one. The customer service is horrendous and don’t contact you back. They make out as tho they’ve called you in which is a lie then send you a email saying the complaint is now closed and say we tried to call you.. that’s the out come of complaints and there are hundreds in the same situation with this corporation. This corporation isn’t fit for purpose. They threaten you for money even tho the equipment doesn’t work and when you tell them you want to cancel well that’s a different story but worse unfortunately. You speak to one person and agree the cancellation and removal of equipment the you receive an email saying your complaint is closed and we tried to call you which is a lie. I’m now seeking a solicitor to take action against the corporation for breach of contract which has never been for filled from day one. I’m not a complainer but I do expect a bit of value for money not just robbed blind.
