“ordered 500 6" plates - quick delivery and good product, however only half of the order was delivered - contact company last week but yet to have a response as to when remainder of my order will be recieved”

“I was initially unhappy with the 7" plates received as the package had a strong smell and I was worried they were unsafe for use. Yhe pkates themselves were of v goid quality as all their other products. The company contacted me direct to advise me further on their usage and storage and I am now happy to use in the future and will be ordering more (larger) plates. Very grateful for the company's quick and helpful response.”

“Although initially having "the look" I found the plates split easily and smell from same made them unsuitable for food use. I reverted to my plastic plates and have given to locsl school for their craft room. Such a shame as although the cutlery is fantastic not the same can be said about the plates.”

Regarding the smell, please understand that our palm leaf plates are made from 100% natural leaves, which may carry a mild, natural scent of dried leaves. Rest assured, this smell does not interfere with the taste or safety of your food. These plates are thoroughly tested and are completely safe to use. “I ordered a sample box to help me see the various sizes available. Despite specifically requesting to receive a sample of the divided plate/tray in the comments on my order - something the company ask us to do if we need to receive a particular item - this plate was not included in the sample box. This is very disappointing but what I have received is sturdy and I will be able to place an order for some items now, but not all.”

Hi Chris, We are really sorry we mixed up your order of large bowls, but sorted out pretty quickly. Regarding the feedback about the plastic wrapping, we understand it is not ideal, but because the plates are made from dried palm leaves, they could absorb moisture from the surrounding environment. The plastic wrapping prevents build-up of moisture and stop the leaves from going mouldy. You can find more details about the packaging in the FAQs section - https://foogogreen.com/faqs/ We tried plant based compostable packaging in the past but the results were not as we expected, but please be assured we are constantly looking for alternatives and options to improve our packaging.
