“Running out of hard drive space on Imac I contacted Mac Man. His recomendation was to change the 320 Gb drive for 1 Tb drive and move data across. This was carried out without any problems and I picked it up the next day. Will recommend this company to any of my friends.”

“My home i mac and my office one were both operating extremely slowly and unreliably. Then my home machine packed up altogether. MacMan did a diagnostic, replaced the internal drive and cleared up junk that had accumulated. It now works faultlessly. I took my office machine in days later - that too was given an MoT, a new internal drive and more memory. It's also functioning reliably again - I will pass it on to a colleague. I'm now using a new i mac with a faster processor and more RAM that I bought from MacMan. Very happy with that too. The MacMan staff I encountered were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient - oh, and the cost of repairs was very reasonable. I am absolutely delighted to have found MacMan. My Mac is at the heart of the work I do.. and of most of my colleagues (I'm CEO of an organisation employing 18 or so people). We'll no doubt be back for more repairs and new machines.”

“The guys in Brighton were very helpful after my Macbook was smoke damaged in a house fire. They installed a new hard drive in an older laptop and transferred the info from the damaged mac so I had something to use while waiting for the insurance company to pay out. Nice people to deal with and will use again.”

“Service was brilliant from the moment I called up in a panic, they listened and reassured me that it would be ok. They fixed my Mac which needed a new hard drive. They were very thorough in their investigations. My only quibble was the time it took but saying that they were probably faster than the apple shop would have been. They were very friendly and unintimidating and explained things to me if I didn't understand. They are always my first port of call if anything goes wrong and I would thoroughly recommend them. The price was also was very fair.”

“I bought my Apple Notebook at the MacMan shop and was very happy with the sale and the way I was helped with the set up.Since then I have called in to the shop on 2 or 3 occasions to ask about things and I have always received excellent service and help with all manner of queries. I would definitely recomment this shop.”

“Great service. Damaged my retina screen on my macbook pro and repair via Apple was extortionate. MacMan was local and the site looked very professional. Repaired for around £150 less than apple and probably quicker. I would definitely recommend MacMan to friends.”

“Replaced my iMac Internal Drive with a SSD. All went smoothly and they were very knowledgeable about potential problems and issues I'd researched prior to contacting them. Second time The Mac Man has worked on my iMac and I'd have no hesitation in using them for all my out-of-warranty work. Recommended.”

“I've just purchased an iMac, having hitherto operated Windows systems and then only for personal rather than business purposes. Although I managed the fundamentals of setting-up and operating the new machine, there were a number of issues I needed to resolve and things to be learned. following a spot of online research, I rang MacMan and asked for a bit of home help. They responded quickly and Matt visited me for a couple of hours to resolve my main problem and give me some on the job tuition. To be frank, I was a little frightened that a young tekkie would arrive, show me in short order just how 'simple' everything is and then whizz off again: it's happened before with windows stuff. My fears proved groundless as Matt patiently and calmly took me through my list of queries and assured me that he could give me as much time as needed to resolve things: so I didn't at all feel under pressure. All in all, a very happy experience: I won't be going elsewhere when I need more support and it's bound to happen.”

“I have complete trust in you and your services. As a freelance writer and performer, it's not just inconvenience when things go wrong, it can be critical. You always get to me quickly and though this might be tempting fate, you always solve the problem! Also I feel comfortable and not stupid. This matters. It's hard to take information in when you're not technologically brilliant and are in an anxious state. Ryan (who is my most frequent helper) is calm, quick when needed, sensitive to my needs for repetition, writing it slowly, and generally tuning in to my life and what it means, as well as the technical problem. I can't praise you highly enough.”
