“After moving house, we took some time before deciding to replace our existing bathroom. It was important to us to find a company that would deliver the results we wanted. Following a recommendation, we contacted The Bathroom Sanctuary in Cottingham and arranged a meeting with Paul and Katie.
When we arrived for our appointment, we expected a brief conversation to discuss our ideas. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised to have an in-depth discussion that explored our needs and expectations for this significant room in our home. This initial appointment was followed by two further meetings over the next few weeks, where we focused on the finer details. We were also visited by Andy, the project manager, and Andy the plumber, which reassured us that this would be a turnkey project with everything meticulously planned with great attention to detail.
Paul was responsible for designing and planning the new bathroom. His ideas were spot on, adding suggestions we had not previously considered. The design was excellent and made us eager for the work to begin.
Andy worked long hours and impressed us with his keen eye for detail and his dedication, and he ensured we were kept up to date with progress and upcoming steps. Any disruptions to our daily routine were minimised, and it was a pleasure to have professionals who genuinely cared about the project. Special thanks to Andy the joiner and project manager, Andy the plumber, and Liam the electrician for their hard work.
The completed bathroom is perfect, featuring high-quality fittings and a design that bring a touch of luxury to our home. It provides us with an ideal space for relaxation and bathing.

“It took us a little time to decide which company would refurbish our bathroom. In the end we choose the Bathroom Sanctuary and we were very pleased with the results. Paul came up with a design we were happy with and carefully explained the various options in terms of equipment . He was also able to assist when we needed to slightly reduce the total cost of the refurbishment. We were given a date for the work to begin three months ahead and it began exactly on that date.
The fitting was undertaken by Tom who has worked with the company many years. He was a fine contractor always communicated clearly with us about what was happening that day. Obviously, the work resulted in a fair bit of disruption but Tom managed it so it impinged on us as little as possible.
We are delighted with the completed bathroom. It is a complete transformation and it’s turned out exactly as we wished. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone planning a new bathroom, they have been a model of professionalism throughout.”
