“Everything was taken care of - all questions answered quickly. Information was clear and helpful. Our safari was fabulous, the Shindzela camp was delightful, our guides were terrific, and the food was good. I'd go with Take Me to Africa again in a heartbeat!”

“What an amazing holiday we have just had in South Africa! From first meeting Sam at a travel show to very quickly receiving a suggested itinerary (which clearly showed that she had listened to all that we were hoping to see), then Zoom calls answering all of our questions (and we had many as this was our first ever trip to South Africa) and then unfortunately having to postpone the trip by a whole year due to a back injury …….the whole process was flawless. We started our South African adventure with a safari at Mala Mala private game reserve, then on to Franschhoek for some wine tasting, and finally a few days in Cape Town which included a private peninsula tour. In all three locations the accommodation, the staff, the food, our guides, transfers by air and road were all out of this world. It was just the best holiday ever. We would definitely recommend using Take me to Africa to plan your holiday - they certainly provide a very personal touch and are always on hand to answer any queries you may have. During our last call with Sam, not long before we set off on our trip, she told us that as soon as we returned from holiday we would be wanting to return - she was absolutely right! Thanks Sam! “We met Sam at a holiday exhibition in London 2 yrs ago! We knew we wanted to go to SA and do garden route, whales and safari but not much else! Sam came up with suggestions and itinerary, and having returned home a week ago, we can only praise Sam and Take me to Africa for such an amazing holiday. The highlight was Thabamati luxury tented lodge, never have I received such personalised and complete service at any accommodation. The rest of the holiday was also excellent, all hotels and excursions hit the mark and overall the whole holiday was exceptional value for money. Sam responded positively to all enquiries and questions promptly. I have no hesitation recommending Take me to Africa.”

“Fantastic experience with Take me to Africa from the very beginning starting with a zoom call with Sam . I felt she really understood what we wanted from our holiday and I knew we were in safe hands . She planned an itinerary which fitted our budget (Victoria Falls/Private Game reserve Kruger/Mpulanga Panorama Drive/Vialankulo, Mozambique ) and included the most amazing and varied experiences with a wonderful safari experience at Sausage Tree Safari Lodge with beach part at the Bahia Mar hotel - all 5* experiences , but reasonably priced. There was a slight hiccup either the way one flight was referenced when we were on holiday (the airlines fault not TMTA btw). I whatsappd and Sam immediately responded, sorted it out and we were able to complete our check in 20 mins later . This was a fantastic service out of hours and gave you confidence to know that you wouldn’t be left high and dry in the event of an issue . I haven’t booked through a travel agent for years but Sam’s knowledge of Africa and understanding of the clients needs (even if they don’t quite know what they want themselves !) is at the heart of why I would book your trip to Africa with Take me to Africa . I certainly will be booking again with them in the very near future .”

“Sam organised the most incredible birthday trip with completely surpassed our expectations for our first trip to South Africa. Everything was taken care of with such great care and detail. The whole planning process was brilliant. Sam was so flexible with dates and itineraries. She moved things around for us so they would accommodate what we were looking for. Every hotel, lodge, driver, restaurant recommendations were brilliant. All the information needed was available through the app which made life much easier. Not much else I can say but use Take me to Africa to organise your trip!”

“We had the most amazing holiday! Sam put together the perfect trip which was even beyond our expectations. We received the best service everywhere we went and the attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly. We visited Victoria Falls, went on safari at the Sausage Tree camp. From there we went to Franschhoek and ended our trip in Cape Town. I would highly recommend this trip. A huge thank you to Sam and the team for making our trip so perfect.”

“We asked Sam and Take Me To Africa to arrange our African holiday for my wife and me as they'd been so impressive for our son and daughter-in-law's honeymoon two years ago. We wanted a mix of experiences based around some safari time and a beach break. Sam suggested a couple of alternative itineraries which we discussed over a Zoom call. We've just come back and Sam absolutely nailed it. We started in South Africa, first the spectacular ‘Panorama Route’ around Blyde River Canyon, then 4 nights at Thabamati Luxury Camp in a private game reserve adjoining Kruger park. This was superb taking ‘safari camp’ to a totally different level, just 4 'tents' with great location, service, food and accommodation, we really enjoyed the game drives and genuinely didn't want to leave. On to Zanzibar via a night in the lovely Africa Rocks Hotel in Johannesburg, first to Stone Town then a beach break at the idyllic 'Zanzibari Boutique Hotel' at the north of the island, this was almost perfect with a seaside room a few steps from the beach, more superb food and great service. Sam had nudged us towards this from the AI resorts we thought we needed, my wife said "Sam knew stuff about me I didn't know myself". Requoting our daughter-in-law, Sam had said "people want a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa, but come back already planning their next visit". My wife (and safari convert) started planning for 2027 to Namibia and Okavango while we were away, and we’ll be back to Take Me To Africa to book that!”

“Cannot fault Take Me To Africa in any way and am happy to recommend them to anyone planning to visit South Africa. Planning was impeccable with due care and consideration taken for specifically what we wished to see and do. Sam's attention to detail was impressive and the options she recommended for safari accommodation, hotels, activities etc. were ideal. Booking and follow-up billing was efficient and Sam even negotiated a car-hire upgrade for no additional cost when it was clear this was needed. The travel pack provided with torch, binoculars etc. was a nice touch and included lots of items that we wouldn't have taken but discovered we needed. If we travel again to Africa we'll certainly contact Take Me To Africa.”

After a recommendation from our niece who met Sam and the team at a wedding exhibition in Birmingham, and used them for magical honeymoon, we knew we were in trusted hands. 🌍 Tanzania: The Ultimate Safari Experience Our time in Tanzania was a dream come true, as a family of two parents and three teenage daughters flying from our home in Zurich. We did 4 days in Laba Camp Jongomero (Ruaha National Park) and 3 days in Laba Siwandu (Nyerere National Park). “The itinerary that Sam put together was exceptional, with each place we went outshining the last! The lodges were intimate and remote - we never felt once like we were amongst a crowd of travelers or vehicles, like I imagine some places and safaris to be. Such personal attention getting through airports, baggage handling, helping to find lost bags, and at the end, helping one in our group of ten rearrange her entire return, including flights and accomodations, due to illness, was so appreciated. If I were to travel to Africa again, I would definitely book my travel through Take Me To Africa! Thank you Sam!”

“I am so glad I found Sam at a travel exhibition! We had a very specific vision for our honeymoon and Sam took on the challenge with ease and managed to find us our perefect honeymoon. Every safari lodge, hotel and resort was fantastic and was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was thought of, from sending us a super helpful package containing items that were beenficial for our trip, to turning what could have been a boring 2hr road transfer into a 5hr guided tour of some fantastic attractions that we wouldn't have got to see. It made our trip so simple and relaxing, which was much needed after a hectic few months of wedding planning! Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Sam for making our honeymoon the holiday of a lifetime.”

“An absolutely perfect honeymoon - all of the lodges were incredible and all went to great lengths to make our stay as special as possible (including a private cocktail bar and fire on an island in the river for sunset and a private lunch on a boat surrounded by baby hippos!). The game watching was brilliant, all guides excellent and all of our transfers seamless. We can’t recommend take me to Africa highly enough!”

“We had an unbelievable trip to Tanzania, thanks to Sam & Take Me To Africa! Sam planned an incredible trip full of safaris at multiple different locations and then booked us a climb up Kilimanjaro. Take me to Africa was very accommodating with us in planning and had excellent communication. Pricing was reasonable and they were flexible to meet our budget requests. We were very impressed with how smoothly everything went logistically throughout our entire trip. All of the accommodations, transportation, and activities were everything we were hoping for and more. We would highly recommend Take Me To Africa and we will definitely use them again for future trips!”

“My family trip to Africa was a great success due to the organisation and backup provided by Sam at Take Me To Africa. The whole trip, flights, transfers and excursions went without a hitch. We lost two suitcases which did not turn up at Victoria Falls and Sam and her colleagues in SA were on the "case" until they turned up allowing us to get on with enjoying our stay. When we wanted to change the itinerary, at a days notice, a phone call to Sam got the whole thing reorganised. I cannot give Sam and her organisation enough praise for the support during the trip and reassurance we had knowing she would be there in the event of problems. If you want to plan a holiday in Africa you cannot do better than go to Take Me To Africa.”
