“Initially ordered an alternator off a well known auction site, however the connections were wrong despite the site saying it fitted - just wasted a load of time. Then I rang the Starter Motor & Alternator Co. They were easy to chat to, knowledgeble and discussed the type of connections etc for my 1991 Ford Granada. Delivered the next day! Ordered 04/12/24, arrived 05/12/24, fitted and working @ 14.3v 06/12/24. Can't thank them enough, so pleased to have the car back on the road!”

“I have a second hand volvo EC15C. A phone call to the guys and a few WhatsApp photos there and then identified the starter motor I needed. The motor arrived quickly, was reasonably priced and was promptly fitted. The digger has since done about 300hrs without fault. Starts everything. Good to deal with, knowledgeable and got me back digging in no time.”

“I ordered a starter motor earlier this year (2024) to replace a failed one after a breakdown. The replacement was delivered in good time and my neighbour (a mobile car mechanic) fitted it the day it arrived. No problems since! The price was good, about 60% of the best price quoted at local garages. So far very happy.”

“I've used this company a few times when I have had the option to do so. They are invariably helpful from the outset, knowledgeable about their products and the fitment along with any common known issues, and are a pleasure to deal with. if you can find them an original part number , they will come up with a matching solution. Lastly their prices are incredible compared to Euros and dealers. Wherever possible I will always use these guys. Cracking firm to deal with.”
