“Not what I expected. As a first time buyer, I based my expectations on advice I received from others. My understanding was that the benefit of using an advisor was that they would complete all the paperwork. I can't fault the initial response, my mortgage was attained very quickly, but once it was, they seemed to lose all interest. I got sick of waiting so I completed the solicitors' forms myself. I am yet to have a survey carried out as the recommended company can't provide one for well over a month. I'm left feeling like I don't know what I'm paying for.”
