“I was in a panic and spiralling with the amount of debt I was in , I was getting further and further into debt and getting no where. I was worried I would need to sell my house. “I had been struggling financially for years due to circumstances beyond my control and while trying to support my family. The tipping point came when I had maxed out my credit cards and exhausted every avenue - I could not carry on like this anymore and needed to get advice and help. I called Scotland Debt Solutions and spoke to Chelsea first who was so lovely and patient, listening to me as I explained my situation and how I had reached the end of my tether. She passed my call to David Tannock and he was amazing from the get -go. He listened, did not judge me and said they could help and he was to be my case manager /point of contact. Options were given on what could be done and we agreed not only what the plan of action or plan A was for now but also sorted out what plan B would be if plan A didn't work out. David kept reassuring me as I told him I worry alot and get anxious easily- I was told it was all going to be ok, he would help me and I was not to worry. I am usually cynical when someone says that to me as I've been misled or let down by debt advisors and others in the past, but David is genuine and honest - everything he has said he and the team would do has been done. If anyone is really struggling with debts, I would recommend that you at least call Scotland Debt Solutions and talk to David and the team for advice as that alone is a big help- having guidance from someone who really knows what they are talking about. I can't thank David and the team enough for being so patient, helpful and understanding and for showing me that there is a way out of my financial mess.”

“I was unsure of what to do when I lost one of my main sources of income and I realised that I needed to do something sooner rather than later. I contacted Scotland Debt Solutions and spoke to David on the phone. He was very knowledgable and helpful and easy to communicate with. We linked up on WhatsApp and he was available pretty much at any time, I even sent stuff in the evening and got a reply. It was a total weight off my mind and made finding and implementing my course of action really easy. The whole process didn't take very long at all and I can now get back to rebuilding my life. “This was a bit of a hail Mary when I first phoned but Kelsey( I hope I remembered that right) answered and calmly with no judgement put me at ease and allowed me to explain my situation. After a short conversation she put me through to David who I can honestly say has lifted a massive weight of my shoulders. There was no way I thought I could get my debts under control while still having enough money to eat and buy clothes, basically not being destitute. David came up with a plan that works, will have me debt free in 6 years and my pride will still be intact because I still pay what I owe, just without drowning in interest. “Having struggled with and stressed over a substantial amount of debt i wish i had contacted Begbies Traynor earlier.David calmed me down and made the debt management process utterly stress free.Yes i still have to pay my debt off but nobody is going to be chasing me for never ending intrest payments.By setting up a monthly payment i can afford David and staff at Begbies Traynor have given me my life back.I would recommend anybody in the same situation to give them a call.”

“Went into this process absolutely terrified of the debts I had accumulated. No matter what I tried things just seemed to get worse and I felt there was no way out of the mess I had created. I seen an ad on social media for Scotland debt solutions and filled out the form. I got email and phone call, I was terrified to even answer the call but I did. I spoke with Chelsea and was extremely distressed going through everything but Chelsea was a godsend and listened to me throughout with no judgements. She is a credit to your company and eased my initial phone call to start managing my debts. I then was passed to David and he also had so much patience with me and speaking with him also made me feel at ease. We went through everything and then spoke about my options I am now in a much better place mentally and now have a plan set up monthly to start paying off the debts I owe in one manageable payment per month.
