“Extremely poor after sale service. Staff specially male staff is very rude. I accidentally ordered sticking pads twice worth £1.76 Or something when asked to Ames the order , I was told it will cost me £9 to get £ 1.76 refunded. Wrong information was relayed about changing the registration plates as DVLA asked me to change. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use the primo registration change service as it’s just waste of£20. However the price of registration was relatively cheap than other companies. But service is very poor.”

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. However, after reading the review I have taken the time to investigate it and listen to the call that you made. What you have put is totally incorrect and not what you were advised. I also don't understand what you mean by your comment that DVLA asked you to change - I have just gone back through all the contact with you and also the contact that you've received from the DVLA and that is not true. We were advised from the DVLA that the transfer was completed on the 12th July and we immediately advised you of this. I do not believe your review to be an accurate review of the service that you've received from us. However, I hope that you enjoy your number plate. Regards Primo Team

“Super fast and customer focused! Was a bit nervous as I hadn't heard of the company before, but the plates were cheaper than anywhere else I could find so I went ahead and ordered. I shouldn't have worried. Super communication with texts and emails at every step of the way. Made me feel much more secure about the purchase and my new plates are awesome!! :)”

“People buy private number plates all the time. However, when you have never done it before you want your hand held. I know I did. Primo did all the work. I just had to fix the plates on the car. Well...I got the garage to do that. When I buy another for the kids it will be to Primo I will head. Thank you guys.”

It was a shame that Primo put registrations on there site that are not always available as indeed we found out having paid for a registration that we really liked only to be told two days later that it wasnt available. So we purchased our next best registration from Primo in anticipation and it was available and the process was swift and straightforward”

“Took longer than 15 working days but this i understand was due to DVLA striking but was not informed by PRIMO when the transfer was completed. I was pulled ove lr by the police. When i phoned PRIMO they then told me the transfer was complete”

Hi Gareth, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. With it being a negative I have investigated this for you. I can see that the transfer was completed by the DVLA on the 7th July and we were notified on the 12th July, but their systems had updated to the new registration on the 10th, which is when you phoned and spoke to my colleague. From listening to the phone call with my colleague, you said that you were stopped due to an insurance issue. The Police wouldn't have stopped you for driving with the existing number plate on the vehicle on the 10th, as long as you hadn't changed your insurance over (something that we would have informed you of on the 12th). Unfortunately I can't understand why the police would have stopped you for an insurance issue, as that is out of our control - the only issue that I could possibly think of is if you had contacted your insurance company prior to the transfer being completed.
