“From start to finish, the process was a breeze. The team was patient and took the time to explain everything. I left with a great car and a smile on my face!”
“Great selection of cars and even better customer service. The staff made the entire buying process seamless. Will definitely be coming back for my next car!”
“I had an awesome experience here! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They weren’t pushy at all and made sure I was comfortable with my decision. My car is reliable and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend!”
“I’ve bought cars from other dealerships before, but this one is hands down the best. They’re honest, fair, and genuinely care about their customers. The car I bought is fantastic, and I left feeling confident in my purchase.”
“The team here made car shopping a breeze. They listened to my needs and helped me find a car that fits my lifestyle and budget. The car is in excellent condition, and the whole process was quick and painless. Five stars!”
“Bought a car from Mytchett First Cars under a year ago and clearly got sold a lemon. Ended up costing me thousands and constantly breaks down. Wouldn’t trust them as far as I can throw them. Do not buy from here.”
“Do yourself a favour & avoid this place like the plague. Do not make the mistake we did of being fooled by the 'good' reviews & promises of first class customer service on their website. This outfit is a repeat rogue trader, who has changed location, & the company & their personal name to avoid the truth being seen. See the following reviews for their current outfit:

Google Ahmed Al-Waheeb (Aka 'Alex'), EMC Car Sales, Chobham Central Garage for their previous businesses, showing history of underhand behaviour & unsafe sales. They are not forthcoming in their sales tactics for a reason.
When we collected a Hyundai Getz from Mytchett First Cars the carpets, were damp, particularly in the front footwells. We queried this & we told by Joseph that the car had just had a valet (although clearly not a professional one). We asked if we could bring the car back if there were any issues & were told this would not be a problem. Within the first two weeks we noticed a slow puncture on front right tyre. We took the car to Kwik fit who found that the tyre had been driven on when flat & was unsafe to drive on, due to wear on the tyre facing the underside of the car. The alloy was also damaged. We were told my partner could have had the tyre blowout on the 40 mile trip back home, along the A3. We then found that the space saver tyre had never been changed (since 2006) & were advised against driving long distances on it. The other tyres were also old & overdue to be replaced. We contacted Mytchett First Cars via email & received a response from 'Alex' who was wholly unapologetic, rude & offered to collect the car to repair it, but at a collection cost to us of £150 - this we disputed as we were in our rights for the issue to be resolved by the dealer. We asked for the costs to be covered to replace the tyre & refurb the alloy (£214) but were only offered £150, as any more would eat into their profit. We carried out further online research & unfortunately found reviews of customers taking cars back to Mytchett for repair, only to find the issue bodged & not resolved. Mytchett state they provide a warranty, but do not provide any paperwork for this (nor confirmation of any supposed oil change etc). We asked for the car to be collected for a full refund but again were advised this would be at a cost to ourselves. 'Alex' at Mytchett dragged the facade out for 3 months in which time we also found the car leaks when it rains (hence the wet footwells), the AC stopped working & the CD player does not read CD's. We reported this to Alex but were ignored. We also did not receive the V5 & on contacting the DVLA found the change of details were never sent to them by Mytchett First Cars. We are now stuck with an unusable car that we will have to sell at a large loss.”
“Just a heads up if you're thinking about buying a car from this dealership or their sister site, Drive Time - you might want to think twice. We checked the car's MOT history on the gov.uk site before buying and saw some advisories. They told us all the work had been done, but when we picked up the car, it clearly hadn't been. Even weirder, the car had just passed another MOT with no advisories at all, which makes you wonder if they've got a mate helping them out. They also promised to service the car before we got it, but that didn't happen. When we brought it up, they offered to just stamp the service book then and there, even though they're not even a service centre. Better to steer clear of these guys. Really wish we'd checked out their reviews before we went ahead.”
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take customer satisfaction seriously, and I'd like to address each of your concerns.
Firstly, regarding the advisories mentioned in the MOT history, it's important to note that advisories don't necessarily mean there are critical issues with the vehicle. They are recommendations for potential future attention. Our team ensures all necessary work is completed before a vehicle is sold. If you encountered any discrepancies, we would have appreciated it if you had reached out to us directly so we could investigate and rectify the situation promptly.
As for your suspicion about the recent MOT with no advisories, I assure you that we operate with integrity and transparency. We have no affiliations or arrangements to manipulate MOT results. Our commitment is to provide reliable vehicles to our customers, and any allegations suggesting otherwise are baseless and unfounded.
Regarding the promised service, it's unfortunate if there was a miscommunication or oversight. However, we would never compromise on our commitment to quality service. If there was any confusion, we would have been more than willing to address it appropriately. However, I must clarify that we do not engage in deceptive practices such as stamping service books without completing the necessary work.
We regret any inconvenience you may have experienced, but it's important to note that we value our reputation and prioritize customer satisfaction. It's regrettable that you didn't research our dealership thoroughly beforehand, as we pride ourselves on our positive reviews and commitment to excellence.
“Giving a one star because I can’t give zero stars. Very dissatisfied with the service I received and would not buy from here again. Despite the friendly staff, my car had a major engine fault within two days of picking it up. The car was returned and after two days I was told the problem was fixed. It was not. after driving home the engine warning light was back on. I called the garage and let them know we would be returning the car to be repaired once again. When we arrived with the car we were told they were not expecting us despite having spoken to them an hour previously. I asked for updates on the car and then had to chase them. They told me the car had been sent to a specialist and that they had no update. Surely the fact that my car had been sent elsewhere and I would not have it back for several days would count as an update? My car was then written off a week later (no fault of the garage or mine) but where they were at fault was that they had not registered the car in my name and I could not progress with the claim. When the did finally send the V5, it was to the wrong address. If it was not for the kind gesture of a neighbor I would still be waiting. Avoid at all costs!”
