“Overall, we are very happy with the floor (American White Oak solid planks). There were some challenging areas of heavy wear and warping caused by some previous damp issues, these were fixed and it looks as good as new. The team were polite and efficient and there was much less dust than we expected.
The only reason for the 4 stars rather than five was the lack of choice on hard wax oil finish, ideally, we wanted the OSMO matt finish but they only offered gloss or satin. This is a shame as OSMO has a vast array of finished but in the end it wasn't a deal breaker. The other area was where they applied the two hard wax oil in about three hours so I can't see how the first coat would have dried, it took 36 hours for us to be able to walk on the floor.”

Thank You for Your opinion Stephen! We are sorry to hear that the masking tape left on Your skirting caused damage to the paint when it was removed. We had to cover Your skirting with tape to protect it from mechanical damage. We always recommend not to paint skirting before floor renovation because when paint is "too fresh" things like that may happen. We appreciate your feedback!!
“Very clean treatment of my hardwood floor. I have had this done twice previously by other contractors and both other times, dust had escaped from the room to much of the rest of the house. That was not the case this time. Very clean treatment of my floor and it looks great.”
