“I have a centrally placed conch piercing and the 12mm was just a bit snug for me poss 14 or 13 would be more comfortable. So have not been able to keep my latest purchase in for lengthy wears. Hopefully a larger size conch hoop will become available one day. Otherwise cannot fault the quality of the earrings.”

“I bought a belly bar had my belly pierced about 23 years ago have gone through many as was always going septic this is honestly the first bar that has been perfect and not given me any infections would definitely buy more from Laura”

“I've lost count of the purchases I've made from Laura Bond. I can honestly say that I love, love, love the brand. The jewellery is very good value for money and fantastic quality. I currently have 6 piercings (five in my ears) one in my nose that I wear the gold labret jewellery in on a daily basis with no trouble at all. No discolouration or discomfort. Just need some more piercings now so I can buy even more jewellery!”

“Laura Bond offer Excellent service to their customers, they are very quick to respond and extremely helpful and friendly, I even joked I would be inviting one round for Christmas dinner with the amount of correspondence she answered. She is more than welcome (you know who you are! 😃). All of the staff that have helped me via email have been as above and I don’t think you would find better service with any other company. They helped me alter my order just prior to shipping and then we come on to the superb quality of items. From looking at the images on line I knew I would be happy with them, but I wasn’t ……….. I was over joyed, the Marquise CZ stud I ordered is beautiful and sits beautifully in my piercing: The quality screams from it. My son helped to put this one in for me as I have big fat thumbs and I was scared of dropping it (which I shouldn’t have been). The gold and the CZ used are excellent quality and the shape of shape of the heart at the back helps the labret to sit better than a round back. My favourite (so far as I will be back) is the Opal Marquise set flat back stud. It is fire and beauty on your ear, the light makes the stone dance with a rainbow of colours. I could have just held it in my hand and looked at it all day. I am more than tempted to order more with the Opal, I am eyeing the tiny mystic Opal moon for another piercing! I was wary of Opal at first as I don’t want to damage the stone but was more than reassured by Chloe and others from Laura Bond. I am actually coveting the majority of these well made, dainty yet eye catching stunning pieces of jewellery. I can’t recommend Laura Bond enough, from their service, their pieces, their packaging and delivery! All is perfect. I will be back. Oh and as an addition I do like the saline spray I ordered and gave one to my son who has just had a new piercing, he said it is so cooling and he loves the nozzle. I used it to just have a small clean around my older piercings and it is refreshing. Thanks Laura Bond and see you soon! ❤️”

“The earring itself is absolutely beautiful, I'm obsessed with it, however, the part that should go through my ear is too thick, so it won't fit in my rook piercing.”

Hi there, Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear that your earring is too thick to fit through your rook piercing. All of the jewellery we suggest for rook piercings on our website have a max post thickness of 16g (1.2mm). This post thickness is the standard size that piercers will use when initially piercing your rook. If you have been wearing a thinner post or huggie style in your rook piercing over a long period, this will mean that your piercing has slightly shrunk which may be why you are finding it hard to fit your new earring. Not to worry - a reputable piercer will be able to help you size up your piercing and fit your new jewellery so long as it is suitable for your anatomy and piercing placement. It may be worth phoning your local piercers to see if this is a service they can help you with. “Firstly the earrings are very pretty. It is probably my fault for not reading the sizing correctly but these earrings are almost microscopically tiny! The other thing is that the earring posts have to be pushed through the back of your ear to the front. This just doesn't work on my ears for some reason. The decorative bit of the earring then has to be screwed on. I assumed wrongly that the heart-shaped back would be the bit to screw in when the earring post had been pushed in the front of the ear. So I have spent nearly £300 and the earrings can't be returned for hygiene reasons which I knew but still very disappointed.”

All of our jewellery is designed to be dainty, unlike the standard chunky and industrial style body jewellery that first started the trend. Our founder Laura struggled to find feminine, dainty solid gold body jewellery so this was premise to her starting her business. Although our jewellery does look super tiny in the box, once fitted in your ears they will look to proportion of your ears - our customers usually love the daintiness of them! Because we understand labrets can be a bit technical and tricky to fit yourself, we include a picture on each product of the mechanism and fastening so that our customers understand how they fit. We do always recommend going to a reputable piercer to get our labrets fitted as this way they can help make sure your piercing is suitable for the jewellery. They can also make sure the jewellery is fitted securely and without any damage. If you're struggling to get the posts in your piercings, its likely that the posts are slightly too thick to fit through. Not to worry though, if you can visit your local reputable piercer they should be able to help you fit these no problem. It may be worth calling ahead to check that they offer this service.
