Hello Mary, if your foundation is not firm, it could very well be due to it getting hot during shipping. You might want to put it in the refridgerator to firm it up. Also, if you are having any issues with applying it, ( I apply this with a flat top foundation brush every day)
Here is a pointer: apply the foundation to damp, moisturized skin
Or: put some moisturizer on the top of your hand, and put the foundation on the brush, then pick up some of the moisturizer so the brush is damp before applying it to your face.
This will make it go on very smoothly, and you will use less product this way.
I hope this helps! Once you get the hang of it, I think you will prefer this one. :) The ingredients are far better for you, too.
