Mark messaged as soon as the plane landed to say he was waiting outside, he showed me all the in's and out's of the vehicle and equipment. Even though I hired it in late October and it was a little chilly, the car, roof tent and sleeping bags provided were really cosy and I had great nights sleeps.
The roads were quiet, scenery was stunning, locals friendly and food fantastic. Great long weekend away and can't wait to come back and complete the North Coast 500.”

“We had an amazing time in Shackleton, what an absolute blast! The truck had everything we needed for our camping trip, including the most amazingly cosy sleeping bags, and once we got used to the size of it, driving it around those mountain paths was great fun. Such great views when you're sat that much higher than in a car! Also Mark was an absolute pleasure to deal with and made sure we understood everything we needed to know about the vehicle before we set off. We'll be back!!!”
“I cannot recommend Highland Overland enough. I’ve just returned from a tour of the Scottish North West, and their vehicle has been instrumental in the success of the trip.
The finish of the camper is to an incredibly high standard, not only was it clean, it was very functional and gave the impression that a lot of thought and effort had been put into it by the owners. All the equipment was plentiful and either brand new or immaculate. Every time we opened a new crate, we found a new piece of gear, and there was absolutely nothing that had been forgotten.
The entire process was seamless from booking, to handing over the vehicle at the end. The gentleman on the customer service line was incredibly helpful and Mark? who arranged the hand over was very professional and informative with his vehicle tour and demo.
I hear that Highland Overland is commissioning two extra vehicles following this years success. I can’t recommend them enough, get one booked! Thank you for enabling us to have such a memorable trip in the highlands!”
