Hi everyone, just to give you heads up. NEVER ORDER FROM HALFORD’S ONLINE!! Because they have the worst customer service I have ever come across. I ordered a scooter £38 online I never received it because the delivery driver delivered to the wrong address which you can see on the map. I called them up numerous of time and told them what happened they put me through the enquiry team who told me to wait 48h for an answer but NO ANSWER. I had to call and email them again and told me the same thing to wait 48h and this happened many time during 3 weeks but still NO ANSWER and today I called them 5 times and I got cut off 5 times I managed to get 3 of the customer service ladies names who are Pumza, Sandra, and Surprise who told me to wait and eventually cut me off. This is unacceptable from a well recognised company to have such a poor customer service. I haven’t received my scooter and I’ve been ROBBED from HALFORD. NEVER ORDER FROM HALFORD ONLINE OTHERWISE YOU’RE GOING TO BE SPEAKING TO SOMEONE FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD WHO DOESNT HAVE A CLUE WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT AND YOU’LL END UP LOSING YOUR MONEY. Still no refund and no contact from customer service after nearly 4 weeks! I bought an electric coolbox and mains adaptor online on 1st June. It wasn't going to be in stock till 8th June which was after we left home to go on holiday, so I asked to collect it from Carlisle store on 8th June. However, when I got there I realised it would not be suitable for our car, so the Carlisle store cancelled the order, and said I would receive an email from Halfords confirming that the order had been cancelled, and I would receive the refund to PayPal as that was how I had originally paid. But no email or refund has arrived. On 25th June we were passing through Carlisle again on or way home, so we called in and I spoke with them again. They were very concerned to hear I had not received the refund or an email. They checked the store records which said the refund had been made. As there was nothing else they could do, they said I should phone customer service and gave me the number. I phoned, but the person who took the call was unable to put me through to the refund department because they wouldn't answer the phone. So I tried the chat line instead. But the chat person said they'd ask the Carlisle store to phone me, and there was nothing else they could do. They gave me an "action" number: 20370409. Then they disappeared. I emailed the customer service department, but have not received even an automatic acknowledgement. I sent a message via Messenger, which has been seen, but not acknowledged or replied to I'm really concerned about this, Halfords customer service have my money, and I want it back! I'm wondering if you have sent it to someone else by mistake? I have been a loyal Halfords customer for many years, their products and shops are excellent, but their customer service department is abysmal.

Booked my Electric Bike in to get a new inner tube fitted and when I took it in they wouldn’t touch it because I didn’t buy it from Halfords. Why take my money and booking if they don’t fix it. It’s a waste of my time and money not a good service.

Do NOT order tyres from Halfords. Not Shoreham's fault perhaps - but I ordered tyres online, choose a time to have them fitted and paid the money. No tyres available at Shoreham'when I arrived. An apology from the manager who didn't seem to be expecting me and a very miserable grudging response from Head Office. Nothing to compensate for time, cost and inconvenience - even a modest £5 would have suggested the apology was meant. And it took 5 days for my money to come back to my account.

Booked my E-Bike in to get a inner tube replaced and they would not touch it. They let me book it in and even charge me £10. This is a disgrace letter me book and when I took it down refused to repair it.

I pre-booked in advance a health check service for our bikes. When I arrived I was welcomed very nice and the gentleman Rob listened to my problem in a very professional manner. Without any further questions he asked me to leave my bicycle and he will call me later to pick it up. Turned around my check and repair same day and bike was ready to go, even though the shop is heaving with bikes. The team Levi, Rob and Mo are brilliant - helped me sort out a lot of my questions and bike’s issues. On top, you get advice how to maintain your bike the best way possible. I’ve been extremely satisfied with each service I booked starting with checking our new family’s bikes There is professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Outstanding customer service. If you want the best for your bicycle this is the place. I’m feeling very lucky to have this shop next to me. I couldn’t ask for more and I completely trust team expertise based on my experience of the last bike service checks. Highly recommend and definitely will come back.

I had a bike serviced and repaired under the gold service Halfords Worcester offer. After the first ride I took it back and said it was not smooth gear changing and fair enough the bike specialist took a link out of the chain. Next ride the Drive chain cogs fell apart. I took the bike back to the Worcester branch and they said it was not their problem and had to contact customer service. I contacted customer service after been put on hold for 15 minutes and they took details and said they would pass them on. I heard nothing back after a week and had to phone the Worcester Branch. The Manager said he could do nothing as customer service had said no to putting my bike right. So no one bothered to even contact me, secondly I'm left with a bike I cant use after a Worcester Halfords service, and no one at Halfords bothered to deal with a customer dispute. So far the customer service has been shocking. The Worcester branch saying they cant deal with it and customer services not dealing with it either. Have now phoned back and complained and want mediation

A socket broke the other day ? No worries a life time warranty will cover it ? Nope , 3 pics of broken socket and Halfords logo on it sent to them . They want a receipt ?crumbs ? I bought the socket set over 25 years ago ? Pretty poor service all round. Avoid at all costs .

Put car battery in backwards. I warned the technician who was in the job 4 days to be careful and that he was wrong. He ignored me, connected the battery and blew the fuse board of the car. Car a write-off and they refused to compensate me correctly.

Took my bike to one of the branches in Hull. I needed a new innertube on the bike. When handing over the bike, the alleged bike mechanic asked which wheel needed the tube which was obvious as it was flat. After the repair was done I was handed the bike back with the chain hanging off. Had issues with this branch before. It seems that Halfords get their sales staff to do bike repairs instead of just stood around twiddling their thumbs when the store is empty. Many of them clearly don’t have the aptitude for the job.

Took my car for MOT which passed but had said that I needed two new tyres and quoted £351.98 to replace. Looked online and found two tyres of the same quality and size for just £251.50. A massive saving of £100.48 for like for like tyres from a well known tyre supplier.

Went to the Sellyoak branch of Halfords and bought a bike for my son voodco monster.£800.00.paid. There was slight vibration in the peddling and not all the gears was working as they should. Asked to tale the bike and return two days after to correct the small issues. Two days further review of the faults, and was told the main wheel on the gears was slightly bent and that the part had to he ordered but would not be delivered for two weeks. Another appointment and was asked to take the bike back home. Two weeks returned to Halfords told the part was there but the fitter was away ill and only he could fit the part and ask to wait an to be informed when fitter would return, after calling every week for two weeks asked to come in again with the bike an was told the part was the wrong part and that the fitter would contact me when the right part was located.I gave up and took the bike to another place to be repaired paying an extra £60. Lets just say i would never go into Halfords again, not in two lifetimes. I could never recommend that company to anyone and would strongly advise potential customers to regard taking business to Halfords as a last resort. If you can go to timboktu chances are you’ll get better service.👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Terrible taken my bike in for service get email all fixed went to collect flat tier still ok fixed that go out side with bike still not fixed the problem with bike after charging me nearly 90 euros and a lot of stress get a phone call saying they can’t get the part to fix it so why service a bike if you don’t have the parts or can not require them for the bike a total rip off now I have to take it to a proper repair shop shocking

After my big disappointment with my experience at Hendon branch auto centre (failed the MOT cost me arm and leg, unnecessary changed of brakes and pads- prior to MOT I had 10 points car check, brake was no issue). I returned to the auto centre on the 5th April to let them know the reverse light was not working. Prior to this on the 18th of March results of 10 point check ,I was advised to take my car to auto centre to fix the reverse light and top up the coolant just to ensure what colour the coolant , blue or pink. I patiently waited 1.5 hour to be told all was done by Jason, he was brilliant and very helpful. Prior, on the 18th of March , I went to the store to book the MOT (booked 30th March), a kind approachable guy Hattif checked my car reverse light as I was confused that only one reverse light seemed working. Hattif ensured that only one will show as most of the models do. So I knew very well the the reverse light was working prior to MOT. I collected my car on the 1st April .I only use my car once a week. On the 3rd of April I decided to check the reverse light to my surprised it was not working. So, I took the car on the 5th April and spoke to Brendon. He was not helpful. He said it was not in their system the reverse light was fixed and I was not charged. If I want they can do that will book and has to collect next week ( Easter break). So really disappointed, went to the store. I was so happy to see Hattif as he knew the reverse light was fixed prior to auto centre failed MOT correction. He was already finished his shift but he knew I was upset. He went extra miles to help me. I would give him 5 stars for his customer dedications and highly recommend for him to be given employee of the month. Luvis

Called customer service to book three annual bike services. Arrived at branch to deliver bikes and was told the appointments were only for a review prior to service. I would need to collect the bikes and book an annual service only to return with the bikes at a later date. The branch was unable to retain bikes, as service slots were fully booked and they did not have storage. Telephoned customer services to complain and was told a 72 hour reply time was standard service standard. Agreed for a call from the branch manager and they have not replied. Branch have since called, stating my bikes must be picked up and they will not perform the annual service prior to collection. They confirmed to me that customer services always get it wrong! I have raised a complaint and no response received. I recommend customers do not purchase service contracts, as Halfords cannot administer these.

Called ahead to ask if they fitted headlamp bulbs - they said yes. Travelled 35 mins to get it fixed only to be told they wouldn’t fix it. Asked for a refund receipt but they didn’t know how to so I was asked to talk to the manager. He was with another customer and I waited for 20 mins for him to produce my refund.
