“I ordered the X frame industrial legs for desks I was putting together. It was suggested on the product page that threaded inserts could be used on the desk top and it was a great suggestion. The legs give a super clean look and are sturdy and durable. I went with clear coat so they are protected from rust. The X frames also allow a swivel chair to rotate between two ends without clipping your legs! With the threaded inserts and bolts they are easy to remove. I did want to get the x frames in copper, but the site didn't offer the option. Emailing in I asked if it was possible but they said no which isn't surprising as the X frames have a lot of surface area, so it's a lot to electroplate - I was going to try it at home making a copper plating solution that you could just rub/brush on, and then do the clear coat myself but didn't want to waste the money if I ruined the legs. In the end I think the legs look better in steel with the wood and I couldn't be happier.”

“Very pleased with the heavy duty, counter height, hairpin legs we received (zinc option). They are supporting 180 cm long cut to size, bullnose breakfast bar (width 90 cm) table top (6/8 seater). Used longer screws as table top is 38mm. Two people to lift the finished table if required rather than slide about, as too heavy for one and could weaken the fixings! Time will tell if we need a central table support but it doesnt seem likely, and Ideal for our kitchen space.”

“The 71cm legs from the hairpin leg co. were exactly what we needed for our project. Delivered as expected, great quality, very sturdy and easy to fit. An attachment to allow a lower shelf would be a good addition to the accessories like the 'rockler' shelf bracket.”
