Hi Richard, I am sorry to hear this. We do sell a lacqured version of these legs, but for this order you purchased raw steel which will rust over time. The legs should be coated in a thin film of oil to prevent them from arriving rusty, however this can dry up over time in our storage. It sounds like you probably wanted our clear coated legs which have the same look and feel, but are protected from rusting. It would be great if you can pop us over an email so we can get this sorted for you.

“I ordered the 35cm oak tapered legs to make a coffee table. The legs are very good quality oak and look very well made. They came extremely well packaged to avoid any scuffs or scratches. I have not fitted them as yet but I'm sure they will look great!”

“There are cheaper 'legs' on the market by far... but NOT of this quality. Wife wanted to buy a new table (about £1200), but for just over £100 have transformed our existing one (see before and after pics)... Only sorry I did not take before and after pics of the coffee table I also changed massively!”

“We ordered 3 different style of knobs from the Hairpin Leg Co. to see which woukd be suitable for our kitchen. We received them within the time stated. Unfortunately, the projection on all 3 of the knobs is too small for what we needed. However, one of them we really like and took it to a local ironmongers who obtained a similar one with a longer projection. Thank you for your service.”

“Delivered quickly. Great to have found this company as I have a large oak desk top with rather old-fashioned wooden turned legs. I'm an ok carpenter, so the top is no problem to renovate, but I can not do metal. The metal 'X' legs were perfect for the job.”
