“I got a strawberry plant and a cherry tomato plant sent to my grandsons who live in London UK. I live in Canada and grew up on a farm where we grew on the farm strawberries and tomatoes etc. I want to know if the strawberry plant produces berries this year if it stays in the pot or does it have to be transplanted and I have the same question for the cherry tomato plant. Please respond to me. I sent you an email and tried to telephone before I ordered these but did not get a reply. Thank you Jenheller2@gmail.com”

The initial contact given to us had a small typo in the email address so the reply that we sent was unfortunately lost. Our reply, for anyone who has the same question: "Thanks very much for contacting us. The tomato kit will grow plants which will produce fruit later this summer, July-August time. The strawberry kit will grow plants which can be grown this year, planted out in a pot in late summer to fruit the following year. Hope this helps!"

“When this arrived it was a present from our parents. There was NOTHING inside the box to explain what the fleece was. Consequently the fleece was thrown away thinking it was part of packing. Please put a note or picture in the box.”

I'm sorry that you did not recognise the fleece as the material that the birds use for packing their nests, and I appreciate that you were not aware that the packaging in this case had a dual-purpose. Normally we put this into a separate bag but did not in this case (inexperienced packing operative at work here!). I will put some more material in the post to you tomorrow to replace the original. We don't want you or the birds to miss out... Many thanks, Mark
