“Beautiful chocolates, added the violet creams, very decadent as we only have them at Christmas. Friars were the best and with more taste than other brands. We had the peppermint creams and marzipan and walnut chocs as well. Yummy 😋”

“I’ve spent a while looking for good quality violet creams. They are a gift for my elderly mother in law who has quite advanced Alzheimer’s. They have always been her favourite chocolates. I’m hoping that the smell and taste may conjure up a feeling for her. Great website and good delivery. Thank you.”

“Ordering was easy from a good selection of chocolates, and delivery was prompt as always. I am disappointed with the new box design, as it does not convey the same element of exclusivity. The contents seemed to have changed somewhat recently but cannot comment on these changes until I get feedback from the recipient.”

“I buy four boxes every year of the milk chocolate cherry liquers for my daughter's Birthday and Christmas. Friar's is the only shop I know of who makes the light chocolate ones. Order is easy and delivery is always on time.”

“The chocolate tasted fine and I don’t think you can tell it’s vegan. They contain palm oil and the quality of ingredients isn’t great, so I wouldn’t buy again.”

“I have been ordering Friars chocolates for a few years now, for Christmas and just to treat myself.The delivery has always been prompt and the chocolates always arrive in good condition. They are superb quality and get eaten very quickly. Some of the stand outs for me are the Honey Praline, Kir Royale and Dark Chocolate Cherries.they really are something special.”
