“I was disappointed in the chocolates. I bought the Tipsy Collection and although the chocolates were good, I couldn't taste any alcohol in them except the whisky and rum ones, and then only faintly. In fact, so absent was the taste of alcohol in general, I looked at the menu to make sure I hadn't misunderstood that the all the chocolates contained alcohol.”

“I bought several Christmas milk chocolate items and two vegan chocolate items. Bought online at a reasonable price, delivery was prompt and the chocolates were looked exactly as they did in the pictures. I have no idea what they taste like as they have been bought as Christmas presents, but I am sure they will be delicious. I would happily buy from this company again”

“I found Friars made low sugar chocolate so that sold them to me! Lovely chocolates, delivered well-wrapped within a few days, and they were delicious. U bought a box of dark chocolate gingers for a friend's birthday and she was equally impressed. Not cheap but a really nice gift for someone special.”

“I've been using Friars for a few years for presents for my Mum who loves these chocolates. My last order was sadly damaged. Within minutes of emailing Friars, they had a new box on it's way, which arrived the next day. Outstanding service- Thank you”

“I'm currently part way through thr ginger collection and have a luxe box of rum truffles to look forward to. These chocolates (I've had both before) are excellent- no cloying, oversweet tastes here. Just subtle tastes that delight the palate. My sister sent me the night and day advent calendar - an absolute delight twice a day!”
