We arrange adventure activities and activity holidays. Our range of services is vast, from a single activity event, up to a week long all inclusive activity holiday. Whether you're looking to book an activity day for your mate's birthday, a stag or hen weekend, or a week long school residential, we've got what's required to provide a seamless booking and an unforgettable experience at the end of it!

“Matt was extremely helpful from start to finish. The stag weekend went off without a hitch. We hired two canal boats for a weekend for 18 people in Bath. An itinerary was provided just in case we couldn't think of where to go or what to do but we turned out doing exactly what was written on it was a brilliant time. No issues with the vendor and we had a brilliant time, Matt assured us along the way that things would be covered if COVID had any impact but things went ahead as planned. Thank you again and I look forward to using you guys again in the future.”

“Essential Adventure were fantastic from the start. Really helpful and kept in contact at all times and answered all questions and fears. I did worry as i had never used them before but i would not hesitate to use them again. From the Hotel that we were set up in and the friendly helpful staff to the actual murder mystery event, it was all fabulous. I had the best fun on my birthday and this event made my night. “Organisation was great, they made it really easy to pick and choose which activities we wanted to do and in which city. The Yurts we stayed in were awesome and the farmer that ran them was really helpful and provided some great local produce which we cooked as a BBQ and as a couple of other meals over the 3 days. Haldon Forest is the perfect place to take both advanced and beginner mountain bike riders. Zorb football was also a good laugh even if we were knackered from a 2 hour bike ride. Unit 1 in Exeter was cheesy but fun, who can't laugh at a bunch of late 30-somethings getting drunk with university freshers, and the Ed Sheeran masks were just the icing on the cake!”

“From the start Essential Adventure has been brilliant. When I hit a wall with plans, Daniel and his team found suggestions for my event. Ended up with a bush-tucker, canoeing adventure with a brilliant Host named Nigel. He took us around Bournemouth bay and made camp; tought us fire making skills, how to skin an animal, making arrows. It was absolutely brilliant. Then airsoft the next day, great fun, although a stag group is never going to be any match for the regular players and their decent equipment!!”

“Very well organized and made my life alot easier. They were all super helpful at every stage. The prices were also competitive with going direct to the coasteering organisers (which I had done before finding essential adventure) and they have a payment system to get everyone to pay in advance so it was a no brainer for me as this saved me having to shell out the money for a large stag (40 people) myself. The service couldn't have been any better. I would definitely recommend to anyone orgainisng group activities.”

“Fantastic range of activities to choose from. EA helped us bridesmaids make the right choice for our party. They took care of the financial arrangements and collecting money which was the greatest thing. It left me as the organiser free to enjoy the planning. We selected the raft building, overnight stay at Eynsham Hall in Oxfordshire and a murder mystery party. Eynsham Hall was the perfect venue for this - we were in a wood panelled room and it all felt very 'authentic' somehow. Hotel was great - dinner was delicious as was breakfast. We were really impressed. Great suggestions EA!”

“Me and the Stag team are still trying to recover from such a mad and eventful weekend. Essential Adventures, just hit the nail on the head. I organised this Stag Weekend for my Best Friend, and he absolutely loved it. The Team at Essential Adventure, were very helpful in planning the weekend, even though it was a busy Bank Holiday weekend, we had no issues what so ever with any of the events or accommodation. I recommend Essential Adventure to everyone, i'm already planning my next booking with them! a Big Thank You to Matt & Daniel for putting together such a brilliant weekend, you guys kept us up to date with emails and calls, and helped us through the few changes we had to make with the Stag Team.”

“Essential adventure made booking a really hardcore assault course for my friends hen super easy. They’re fairly priced and every time I called someone picked up quickly and everyone was very polite! Super helpful! And the military assault course we went to was challenging but so fun too! Quite a few bruises afterwards but totally worth it due to the fun we had and there was something for everyone to do :)”

“I had a hen group of 17 women and we did the assault course. It was so much fun from the beginning to the end. Great team building activities and solo activities along with races. You definitely need to be happy to get very muddy and wet. Such a great laugh and was great at bringing a big group together who didn't all necessarily know each other. The hen loves physical activities therefore this assault course was the best match!”

“James took care of all the activities and the hotel I just took care of the flights, I certainly put him to the test and he did not disappoint. Yes we were on a stag doo but there was no need to slum it, James managed to book us into a beautiful 5 Start hotel in Lisbon Portugal we have a full on weekend Took off from Bristol airport at 7am Friday Morning arrived Lisbon 9.30am, Private transfer to meet us at the airport 10am, took us to the Hotel to drop the bags off, then onto our first activity Go-Cars at 11.30am for and hour and a half, these are great fun, i would recommend to anyone... unless you have a bad back (cobbled streets in places) we drove the go-cars to our next event "The Beer Bike" 1pm. All you can drink for 1 hour... but you have to work for your beer !! lol. we then had lunch at a local restaurant 2pm (not part of our booking) then back to the hotel for a swim in the hotel pool 4.30pm. met up in the one of the rooms with some locally purchased booze. in a cab at 9.30pm to meet our Bar Crawl Guide "Maria" for 10pm arranged by James free bar for an hour then on to a few more bars. then to top the night off VIP at K Urban Beach night club at 1.30am (again arranged by James) this place was out of this world (like being in Miami) with a free bottle of Vodka delivered to our table. The next day James had arranged a lovely private yacht to take us out for a 2 hour cruise with 2 complimentary bottles of wine and a 3 course meal at the hotel to chill us out before our flight home on the Sunday morning. back home with the kids by 2pm Sunday. Thank you James will be in contact for another lads holiday soon”
