“What is the best part of working at the company? Unfortunately, I did not personally experience any standout positives during my time with the company. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The most stressful aspects were the constant monitoring via CCTV both inside and outside the premises, regularly having to ask for work tasks, and spending long periods waiting due to a lack of organisation. Management structure felt unclear, and the overall working conditions were poor. Requesting time off was also unnecessarily difficult and not handled professionally. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The environment felt poorly managed and disorganised, with frequent downtime due to lack of coordination. Communication was limited, and I often felt undervalued and unsupported. There was little sense of teamwork or loyalty, which made it difficult to feel engaged or motivated. What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day felt chaotic and unstructured, with minimal planning. The atmosphere was busy but not efficiently managed, which created unnecessary stress. After leaving the company, my final pay was withheld and I had to follow up via email to receive what I was owed. This experience did not reflect the company’s claim of being a “proud family-run business where people aren't just employees — they're part of the team.””

“From my initial enquiry for a temporary truck hire nothing has been too much trouble i have been kept up to date with all aspect of the hire / off hire. i know that if i ever need a truck again for any of our sites they will be my only 1st contact THANK YOU KELLY AND DEAN HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL”

“We thought that our old fork truck was only good for scrap and it went off to East Midlands Forklifts as a possible trade in against a newer model. However they thought it was worth a complete overhaul and refurbishment. It came back yesterday and it is amazing, like a new truck at a good price. Well done E. M. F. Geoff Mumford Burton Bridge Brewery”

“I own a small (company size not the forklifts) forklift company in the north, I needed some help with a BT order picker that I had bought in Leicester. After a phone call to a contact of mine who sells batteries! he advised me to contact East Midlands Forklifts. From the start to the finish i have to say "FIRST CLASS" service, help and correspondence. Thanks guys”

“I would recommend using East Midlands Forklifts to anyone. We have carried out several projects requiring their expert help and they have always come through for us. A thoroughly professional, customer-friendly and reasonably-priced service. We couldn't ask for more!”
