Camelot Furniture is a British family run business based in Sheﬃeld and Derbyshire with over 75 years’ worth of experience in manufacturing bespoke furniture nationally.
We are specialists in Riser Recliner Chairs and Adjustable beds. More recently we have added Stairlifts into our extensive range.

We are the preferred supplier for Signature Care Home Group. We work closely with many NHS Trusts such as Guys and St Thomas’s in London, supplying the new cancer centre.

“This firm is excellent at customer service. Really helpful at every stage. Importantly it is completely transparent on pricing unlike some other competitors. “The chair is lovely its a shame didn't measure lift as the chair is to big so mum can't go down to the lounge in her chair the material and colour is nice I would recommend this company but make sure everything is measured before x”

“Charlie at Camelot Furniture is so easy to deal with. He's knowledgeable, and very friendly without being pushy. The products Camelot offer are made in the UK (so rare these days) and my chair is well put together. I liked the opportunity to visit the showroom and try out several chairs, for hours! I also liked being given the opportunity to purchase two different types of backrest for the chair as I couldn't make up my mind which type I preferred. After several days of using one type of backrest on my new chair, it turned out that the other was more comfy for me. That extra investment was worth making! The choice of Brisa was also a good decision. It's a fabulous material. Softer than leather, much more comfy than plastic. Breathable and easy to clean too. The price for a Camelot chair astonished me. Highly competitive and excellent value for money.”

“From initial contact, the sales woman was very knowledgeable and could advise me on the products available that would be suitable for my needs. I was kept updated regularly with the status of my order and delivery was well ahead of the predicted date. The bed itself is sturdy and well made. I can't remember ever being as comfortable in bed as I am now. I'm sleeping bed than ever!”

“Very pleased with our chairs. The ordering process was good although it would have been better if we could have viewed the product may be via Zoom or Facetime. However, Charlie was very helpful. The samples from the fabric supplier came promptly. Reason for four rather than five star is slight disappointment with loose fit and white rather than toning elastic of arm covers. Also they do not have a slot for the loop to hold the control.”

“I feel that Camelot needs to employ sales people to come to the customer's home to show the quality of their product. I was not happy to select a chair without seeing it for real. I looked at several chairs brought to me by other companies and could tell the quality, feel, ease of use and sound of the mechanism. Camelot needs to consider this as an option. The arm covers don't fit terribly well and it is very difficult to get the control handset out of the side loop with the cover on. This is annoying as it means I have to keep the set on my lap as it is impossible to reach it otherwise. The first time I had to be rescued by my carer as in the reclining position I could not reach it. This important issue should be addressed. The Brisa fabric was a good choice as it is warm to the touch and soft and looks like leather. I appreciated having the samples sent to me. The chair was delivered in the time given even though it was Christmas week. The men arrived early in the morning and in the time slot allocated. They took the packaging off and threw it on my garden plants squashing them so had to be told not to do that. They did not wear masks so had to be told to put them on. They had dirty hands and left marks on my new chair. They had a bit of difficulty in assembling the chair and also put the cushions and arm covers on the wrong way. They could not explain or answer my questions about operating the chair as they had limited English. This was disappointing and I feel that an informed demonstration is an essential part of the sales service of any good company. On the whole, I am pleased with the chair. The size fits but I have to have a cushion behind my neck despite being told that a neck cushion, an item provided by other companies, would not be needed. It appears to be well made, and Britsh crafted by a company small enough to offer a personal touch. I appreciated the opportunity to speak directly to the Director and all the staff were friendly and helpful. As I did a lot of research into the riser recliner chair market I hope that my suggestions will be of some use to Camelot.”

“My experience with Camelot was a pleasant one. Good communication throughout my purchase of a rise & recline chair no hassel, they give you the details & let you decide in your own time, there's no pressure for a quick sale & they were always pleased to help with any queries.They kept to their word & delivered befor Christmas. The chair is of a very good quality & the delivery company kept in touch & removed all the packaging. I would highly recommend Camelot for it's service.”

“Easy to explain requirements to the knowledgeable staff, they knew exactly the best chair for me (I’ve had two other cheaper ones not good enough for me) and it feels extremely sturdy and comfortable. Nice high leg recline, smooth motor even with a decent amount of weight on it. Highly recommended. Lead time was just over a month but worth the wait.”

“I requested a fire safety label for a 12 year old Camelot chair which we intended to give to charity. Not only was this dealt with the same day but a very personable young man delivered the item and attached it to the chair. Excellent and prompt service”
