“I went online and got a good quote of these, decided to go with them and paid £171 deposit for my van insurance.5 minutes later a woman rung me up, said she would go through a few things , came back to me a few minutes later and bumped the price up £540 because they said I had 2 notifications on my history but where not my fault. I told her I did not want it and was cancelling the payment, the woman told me there was a charge of hundred £100 if I did this and if I cancelled they would put I have had Insurance voided for further companies. Absolute theives! Looked on more reviews and it seems they do this regular,going to be reporting them , DO NOT USE these , rip off merchants!”

“Rung and paid in full last saturday and it hasnt shown up as insured on the national database in all this time and as a result iv not been able to work all this week, i rung on the monday confirmed all extra details you needed and was told even though it isnt showing up on the database as insured that i can be assured it is but i didnt want to risk it so i waited i then rung back on Wednesday as still not showing as insured was told they will get back to me......i then rung on thursday to findout there was a problem with the insurance and was told it wasnt my fault but would cost me an extra £380+ which i then paid as iv already lost out on five days work this week and just need it sorting asap, it was a good job i wasnt using the van in that time as i clearly wasnt covered even though you took payment, I was then told everything is now fine and insurance in place but even still now you look up my registration FL11 GUO and it still says not insured...really poor bad service and really not happy 👎👎 as far as im concerned iv paid in full from last saturday and as far as the police etc are concerned its not insured”

“Took insurance out and havnt felt my privacy was being invaded so much ever wanted every detail of my medical conditions even though they don’t need to be declared to dvla, wanted pictures and codes of driving license etc and when I cancelled within 14 days havnt paid back the rest of my deposit after they have took £75 from it, definetly wouldn’t recommend them”

Having agreed a quotation and paid over £2000 through the website i was then contacted and told if i wanted the Insurance my price would be an extra £400. Total scam, please please do not use on any compare websites. they take your money £200.00 deposit and phone 10 mins later with new price to 'validate' then the price goes up another £1400.00. Then charge £75.00 when you cancel after being asking for another £1400.00 on top. Totally against the law, 14 day cooling off period minimum. contact your card company and stop the payments as fraud. This is not a fit or legal company even with T&C's as they state its fraud!!!”
“Complete scam this company took 185 pound of me and next day they wanted over 2 grand and said that’s just half what the insurance was so they cancelled it and said I’m due refund of 52 pound after a day proper scamming company I’ve been waiting nearly 3 months for my refund so have been in touch with a legal team to sue these for stress and worry couldn’t go to work because they cancelled insurance they should explain things better instead of just taking your money and then ripping you off and leaving out high and dry p.s had to leave a star but didn’t want to”

Goes by a few names on confused . Com van experts with the cheapest quotes to attract you (Broker Experts, Van Insurance Expert, First Choice, etc.). Once purchased you are required to have a phone call where they pick apart everything you selected (Job, Address, Social/Commuting/Business Mileage, Vehicle and why you even need it). They then update the quote to over double, and if you cancel you have to pay £75+ because of their 'terms and conditions' (regardless of 14 day cooling off period laws).
AVOID.
Go to a proper company like SwitchCover, Admiral, etc. and not a dodgy broker like this.
Also the customer service is absolutely disgraceful, they intend to make you out to be a liar to bump up the quote. I even had to prove my job and address in 'fraud prevention'. Good luck if you ever need to make a claim if that is how they treat you on sign up!!!
