“Well the delivery was not as quick as expected. The dispatch note did not have an invoice with it. The actual costs implied on the shop window did not show V.A.T value whereupon I was re-clamming my work expenses of which due to no invoice delivery note I could only reclaim the actual goods value. I accept there may have been some small print albeit I did not locate the value clearly upon placing the order. Apart from the above the part suited my needs sufficiently.”

Dear Customer, After reading the contents of this review, I decided to investigate it thoroughly. You ordered 2 x CR1216 button cells which with delivery came to £4.49. When ordering, you selected our standard economy delivery option which offers 1 - 4 day shipping. We are in the process of contacting you to find out when this was delivered. So dealing with your points one by one: 1. The VAT invoice was emailed to you upon dispatch of the goods, which was sent in a PDF, and I've checked our server and we didn't receive any bounce notification. Perhaps it went into your spam box? 2. Without any possible doubt, ALL prices on our website are shown including VAT. When you first see the product on the category page, the search results, in our adverts on search engines and in product comparisons, ALL the prices are shown including VAT. On the product page, we show a table with the VAT free prices in light grey very small text. Once again in the shopping cart and on the checkout page, we show the totals including VAT with a single line itemisation of the VAT at the bottom. I have uploaded an image to illustrate this. Even our transaction emails show amounts including VAT with a VAT itemisation at the bottom. If you did not receive the VAT invoice, we would be more than happy to provide you with one in PDF format as we do all our customers. However I am not prepared to accept the suggestion that we obfuscate the VAT inclusive price to make it look cheaper. I would ask that you re-examine the attached images as there is no suggestion of the lower price. I do appreciate your business but in this instance feel that we need to correct your inaccurate account of the price display on our website.
