“I purchased the carp selection of flies but not for carp fishing. The brownies in my club lakes love the deer hair dog biscuit flies, they are my go to when all else fails. Well tied flies and nice little box too.”

“Just the business in Slovenia. Accounted for many fish over the past week.”

“Over the last couple of weeks I have tried the Tungsten nymphs on the Loddon, Itchen and Kennet. I can attest to them all being fish catchers and the rainbows seem especially taken with the Orange-Head Mary. So far only 1 has needed some remedial work after a bit of severe chewing. Very pleased with the selection.”

“Excellent service. These flies are very well tied and were delivered within days. I can't promise that they will catch fish though, as that depends on me!”

“I tend to tie my own but decided to give these a go, and glad I did...stunning flies, and equally stunning service, they do exactly what they promise to do, ordered and to my door within 24hrs...a rare service, especially when flies from one of the big 'American' suppliers cannot even manage to reach me in a week! awesome service guys...stand by for further orders...”

“Nicely proportioned, well made flies in good materials, and barbless ( of course, but that's just one thing less to remember to do when you're in an inner turmoil about casting to a rise ). The special dry selection has been very effective on the few occasions I've managed to get out this year, but took some nice wild brownies on the Lowther.”

“Another great set of flies...this time the Specialist Grayling Selection...which accounted for 8 beautiful Grayling up to 1.5lbs from the River Itchen today (05.09.16). As always, the service is friendly and fast and the quality excellent.”

“This was my first purchase from Barbless Flies. I ordered a set of 'beaded nymphs including a fly box' and was surprised that they arrived so quickly! 30 splendid, assorted, very well tied nymphs. I usually tie my own flies but what's the point when I can getter better quality at a fair price. What Made it all special was the hand written note from Richard thanking me for my order, it made me feel 'special'. I telephoned Richard to thank him for the flies, what a really nice guy, we had a splendid chat about fly fishing. Flies by fly fishermen for fly fisherman. I shall be grayling fishing next month with these flies and I just know that they will catch!”

“Saw you mentioned in a fishing report on the Wye and Usk website and checked you out. Barbless often demanded on our rivers with catch and release and an increasing number of salmon parr about. Klink and dink selection - very good - I'll be back.”
