“I was very disappointed to get these nice spoons only to find they were coated in varnish. According to wooden spoon makers, they should be oiled and not varnished. What wants to use a plastic coated spoon that just looks like its natural? Too bad, otherwise nice. Putting these in hot soups or on a hot pan doesn't sound healthy to me.”
