“Definitely feel the nootropics taking effect while consuming the gel packet. I took one after work so it would gibve me a boost before hitting a run / gym workout. Difficult to tell if the vitamins are working... I mean probably. My vitamin consumption is generally regular anyway. The taste is a bit too zingy and it takes some getting used to.”

“Noticeable difference in sleep quality was the main bonus for me. Falling asleep quicker and easier, so that’s a positive. The negative however is the taste. You really need to try and do something to make these more palatable. I’d easily commit to the 6 month package if I didn’t hate the taste so much.”

Hi Steve We're working on it all the time and have some developments coming through soon so we will be in touch. We took the decision to focus on performance first and decided not to use anything artificial to mask the taste. “I'll start with the good: I've had better/deeper sleep which has helped me feel more energetic. I definitely think that there's goodness in those little tubes that helps your overall health. However - and it's a big one - this is the single worst thing I've ever tasted. It's a slimy texture with grit throughout which could possibly be tolerated if the flavour was good, but it's one of the most bitter things I've ever tried - and I enjoy eating lemons! Genuinely ruins what is otherwise a good product. I've been dreading having mine because the taste and texture make me gag, literally. It's a savoury, bitter, claggy, gritty concoction that you have to fight to keep down and mixing with other things doesn't help because the flavour is so strong. Absolutely awful. If they brought out a sweeter flavour, maybe I'd try it again. I love what they're trying to do, and I wish them every success, but I cannot see how they achieve it with such an outrageously vile flavour/texture.”

Thanks for your review Scott. Sounds like the taste clearly wasn’t for you! Performance is the name of the game at ZAAG. Our shots are packed with top quality, high dose nutrients and there’s absolutely nothing artificial in there to mask the taste. This is why you noticed the benefits within days of taking it. We know that we can always improve and flavour is something we are constantly working on. “So did a months trial on this product, as it took me a few week to start feeling the effects. I can honestly say my energy levels was seriously increased and my focus levels was higher, also my recovery between training has improved. I then took a 2 week break to see if it made any difference, I can honestly say it did. I felt tired again in afternoons with out it. So I got back on it, then within a few days I felt energetic all day and back to one coffee per morning. I basically describe this as an all day pre-workout that lasts all day. No bulls**t, it’s worth every penny. I’d like to see a monthly subscription rather than a bulk buy. Overall, it’s awesome.”

“I have just finished the 2 week trial and I was very impressed. I noticed my sleep was much deeper, I woke up feeling refreshed and had alot more energy throughout the day. The taste was sour but I quite liked it. I would definitely recommend this product.”
