“Vesternet's usual rapid response delivered the product in a couple of days, however it was the excellent technical support from Qubino that helped me on to the right track. I was intending to replace a Warmup wall thermostat/programmer with the Qubino and use the existing floor probe. It was not immediately apparent that Warmup use an analog probe whereas the Qubino is a digital one. So I returned the Qubino (instant refund) and replaced it with a Heltun High Load switch which uses an analog probe. All fixed.”
“I've tried a few Qubino modules but they don't work properly on the ST Samsung App and are not supported by ST. The Thermostat2 is supposed to be supported and it does (almost) work. In my setup when the I1 switch is set to off the device alternates every few seconds between heat and off and is unusable. The device also floods the logs with temperature reports every 0.1 degrees. Customer Support was responsive but has no solution to the switch problem and suggests the unit might be faulty.”
