“This works well in the main and was easy to register and pair with Domoticz on a Pi. It paired with the Hank scene controller easily. There are a couple of issues, though. Firstly it sometimes buzzes when dimmed. Not so loud you could hear it behind a wall switch, but you can hear it within about one metre when its not enclosed. Secondly, each time you change the dim level or the RGB levels in Domoticz it will transition to the new setting from zero brightness over a period of half a second or so. This means you can't seamlessly transition between colours. I need to experiment more to find out if this is an issue with the dimmer or Domoticz.”
“The device is much smaller than expected. The terminals have very small openings which means that your choice of wire (and therefore length of wire for higher current LEDs) is restricted. It works pretty well in Domoticz with reasonably quick response. It emits a slight buzz when dimmed, although this isn't audible to me when behind our bookcase , and doesn't seem to remember its last settings when switched off and on, although this might be due to Domoticz so further investigation is required.”
