“Simple to install using the M30 adapter on my trv body. Connected immediately and simply to smartthings using matter install qr code. Seems thepromise of matter is starting to be delivered. Impressed to far and seems to control the rad temperature well and report temperature accurately.
Only reason for the 4star review is that unlike other smart trvs I've used, it does not report battery status.”

“Mechanically, the adapter to fit this to my valve (Danfoss RA type - pretty common in UK) took a few attempts to get right. The plastic clip needs to be sprung quite widely apart to get it onto the ridge on the valve body to get a positive location. Not as easy or robust maybe as others I have used.
Now it's on properly it works fine as a 'dumb' thermostatic valve. I'm using Home Assistant (with the Sky Connect dongle) for Thread but can't connect yet due to a well known Thread bug, but I bought it to experiment with. I half expected to have issues. Don't think Thread is quite mature enough for prime time yet.”
